GROUNDWORK CASE STUDY
16 Alleyways and 2 community venues set up growing schemes, many of which were still thriving 2 years on
17 Community groups and 323 adults received community development support and growing training
Participants felt their sense of community had increased, social isolation reduced and health and well-being improved
Development of an informal network of community growing groups across Salford, supported by high impact promotional activities such as a video and production of a local cookery book
Inspired by the success a further 2 Grow Cook Eat courses were delivered

Running a marketing and promotion campaign to raise awareness of the project
