How did you end up in the HVAC industry? I love this question. I never set out to be the marketing advocate for ductless heat pumps, yet here I am. Everyone has a story and this is mine.

My passion for ductless started 11 years ago in 2008 – one of the worst recessions. An HVAC contractor called me up to say he was worried whether he could survive the economic downturn. He was betting that ductless heat pumps – popular all over the world but only now being introduced in the U.S. – were going to be the product of the future. He wanted to brand his business as the leader in ductless and asked if I could get him to the #1 position in search. “Yes!”I said. After a moment of silence, I asked him “What’s a ductless heat pump?”

I wondered if I could survive the downturn myself.

When I got the call from the HVAC contractor, I doubt he knew that when asking me to save his company, he in turn was helping to save mine. Throughout the West Coast, news of my client’s success grew. Other contractors contacted me and we duplicated the success over and over again. I became known as “The Ductless Marketing Gal.” The ductless heat pump not only saved my client’s company, it saved mine, too. It explains my passion for the product and the contractor.
