/ A WINE TASTING TOURHead off on Switzerland's longest wine tasting trail! Discover the different varieties of Genevan grapes on three different trail routes. The "Right Bank" trail crosses Satigny D , Switzerland's largest wine-growing area. The "Between the Arve and the Rhône" trail takes you to the heart of the "Champagne" region, where numerous restaurants serving delicious local produce await you. The third option is the "Between the Arve and the Lake" trail, which follows the left bank of the Rhône past some charming historic villages. If you love wine and local produce, paying a visit to some local cellar doors is a must. Over a weekend in May, the Genevan wine-growers open their cellar doors to share their passion and introduce wines made using the previous year's harvest. Cheers!

Arm yourself with an AudioGuide i and take a tour around the Old Town 2* and the international district 5* . The AudioGuide will take you to the International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum C , as well as the Palais des Nations 5* , home to the European headquarters of the United Nations. This seat of global diplomacy features an array of artworks by well-known Spanish artists. The Council Chamber is decorated with gold and sepia-toned murals by José Maria Sert and the extraordinary ceiling of the Human Rights and Alliance of Civilizations Room was painted by Miquel Barceló. The second AudioGuide tour of the Old Town talks about Geneva as an important stop on the Pilgrimage Route of Santiago de Compostela. If you fancy a change of scenery, hop on the bus or tram and in just 20 minutes you'll find yourself in another world. Put it to the test: start at the Place du Molard, a charming square in the heart of the shopping district with a beautiful medieval tower 28 . From there, jump on a bus or tram and head to one of the city's nearby parks. Try the Bastions Park, home of the Reformation Wall the Eaux-Vives Park E with its gorgeous backdrop of the lake or head to the Perle-du-Lac Park F and marvel at the stunning views of Mont Blanc G .
