very own library card help him/her feels important and has a sense of ownershipduring the Library Visits.

Take-Home Kit:We hope to re-implement the school-family partnership project, the “Take-Home Kit”, We start with the parents of the kindergartens’ children., last week,to help their child make a gift for their friend in school, to exchange at the endof the theme My School and Friends.

The main objective of the ”Take-Home Kit” is to encourage active parent-involvement in children’s learning. It will serve as a platform for parents tospend quality time with your child and also to keep parents well- informed ofwhat we are teaching our children in school currently and also your child’s

progress. The focus is not in the end-product but the process of it. We will include parents from other classes later in the weeks.

Family Partnership and Collaboration:Glücklich Schoolhouse recognizes that parents have a valuable role to play in

the education of young children. Effective partnerships between teachers andparents are essential to meet the needs of children and support theirdevelopment.

We are working towards a more active collaboration with families and want toinvite parents to join us in organizing the next Family Party scheduled to be heldin August 2013. Family Party also known as Familie Feier, is an annual familygathering we have with all parents and children. The past years, we have had anight camp fire, a school concert (for our graduating children then), children’s

art works auction to raise fund for Children’s Cancer Foundation, a wall-climbingevent, and many more events organized by the parents for the children/parents

in school. We welcome parent participation in all school experiences.

We attach a “Parent Volunteer Form”, which contains a variety of ways youcould be involved. We hope to form a Parents’ Support Group through thispartnership and collaboration. School Uniform:Please ensure that your child comes to school in uniforms every day, and packanother pair for your child to change, after shower.

Personal Belongings:Please be reminded to label children's belonging clearly and provide three

labeled bags for clean, soiled uniform and towel. We would appreciate it if you
