GUC AND RTU, LATVIA AS STRATEGIC COOPERATION PARTNERSA new frontier for international exposure has been opened to all GUC students and sta�s.

After a successful visit of a delegation from Riga, Latvia to the GUC on February 27th, 2014, a delegation of GUC headed by Prof. Dr. Ashraf Mansour – GUC Prime Founder and Chairman of the Board of Trustees, including Amb. Nihad Zikry, Director of International Policy Planning and Ms. Yomna el Shazly, Head of Student A�airs visited Riga in the period from May 28th – 31st, 2014 to crown the long discus-sions with the counter delegation for the establishment of a success-ful relationship between GUC and Latvian Universities for coopera-tion on the academic, scienti�c, cultural and educational level.The road of the collaborative discussions has been embraced by a distinguished event for signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) of a framework agreement between Riga Technical University and the German University in Cairo.

The visit also included strategic meetings with high-ranked o�cials in the Latvian Ministry of Education, Higher Council of Education, Parliament and Investment and Development Agency of Latvia besides visiting Riga Technical University and Turiba University for exploring di�erent opportu-nities and cooperation scopes in di�erent �elds.
