Adult Summer Series: 1st Corinthians 12:12-27 helps us

understand that each of us is essential to the well-being of

our group. With this series, we will gain helpful tools for

the small group, Bible study, family group, work group,

or recreation group that we all take part in. We’ll meet

during the Sunday School hour, June 19th & 26th, take

July 3rd off, and continue July 10th & 17th. We hope

you enjoy and grow as we receive fun tricks of the trade.

Pastor’s Summer Series

Precious Children in the Highlands Preschool will be

offering a day and enrichment camp for boys and girls,

ages 4-12, this summer! Camp starts June 13th & runs

ANNOUNCEMENTS Jeff Davis CALL TO WORSHIP Shaun Hartsell

∆ OPENING HYMN Joyful, Joyful We Adore Thee #90

RECONNECTING TO GOD Linda Hudson Merciful God, we confess that we have not loved You with our whole heart. We have failed to be an obedient church. We have not done Your will, we have broken Your law, we have rebelled against Your love. We have not loved our neighbors, and we have refused to hear the cry of the needy. Forgive us, we pray. Free us for joyful obe-dience; through Jesus Christ our Lord.

∆ WORSHIP THROUGH PRAISE ____________________ Praise Team Light the Fire Again & Ancient of Days

CHILDREN’S MESSAGE Isabel Blanc

Immediately following the children’s message, the children will be escorted to our preschool building for children’s church. They will return to the Sanctuary during the closing song.

COMMISSIONING OF THE MISSIONARIES John Milone PRAYERS OF THE PEOPLE Dan Brenneman

Our Father Who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy Name. Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors; and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil, for Thine is the Kingdom and the power and the glory, forever. Amen.

PRESENTATION OF TITHES & OFFERING ___________________ Offertory

∆ Doxology #815 and Prayer of Dedication MESSAGE “Power Lifting” Shaun Hartsell Acts 1: 6 - 12 (Pg. 1691) CELEBRATING THE LORD’S SUPPER ________________________

The Lord’s Supper is the sign and seal of eating and drinking in communion with the crucified and risen Lord. The invitation to the Lord’s Supper is extended to all who have been baptized, remembering that access to the Table is not a right conferred upon the worthy, but a privilege given to the undeserving who come in faith, repentance, and love. Even one who doubts or whose trust is wavering may come to the Table in order to be assured of God’s love and grace in Christ Jesus.

∆ CLOSING HYMN Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing #11 ∆ INVITATION & BENEDICTION Shaun Hartsell

∆ Please stand if able and willing. If not, lift your voices high!

Jeff Davis, Ed Long, Megan Raulerson, Justin Penning-

ton, Alexis & Tyler Baugher, Eric Wortman, Jessica

Keller & Brandon Clark are joining with TEAMeffort

in Copperhill, Tennessee, next week! Some of the

projects that we may do are the following: painting,

roofing, woodwork, & ministering to those in need. The

camp borders Georgia & North Carolina; so we have the

possibility of working in three states! Please keep this

mission team in your prayers.

Lifeline Mission Trip

Starting Wednesday, June 15th, all men of the Church

are invited to attend Beef & Bocce (Italian lawn/street

bowling). This weekly men’s fellowship event will be

every Wednesday from 6:00pm - 8:00pm and feature a

menu of a protein, starch and salad. Prior bocce

experience isn’t required, and anyone age 18+ is invited

to participate. Sign-up by Monday of each week on the

bulletin board to ensure we have enough meat for all!

For more information, contact Dan Brenneman.
