ORIENTATION AND WELCOME SESSIONS - These sessions are the official welcome from your Faculty, or for specific areas in the University. They will provide general information about your Faculty or area, what to expect in your first semester, student associations to be involved in, and other important information. Refreshments will be provided at the conclusion of the Orientation and Welcome Sessions.

FINALISING ENROLMENT - If you are unable to enrol, come in for an Admissions Check. Then finalise your enrolment by going to a Full-Degree Enrolment Hotspot to select your subjects, collect your Student ID Card and parking permit. If you are a Study Abroad and Exchange student, go to the Study Abroad and Exchange Enrolment Hotspot. These are ongoing events during Orientation.

STUDENT HOUSING - Only compulsory for students who live in Student Housing. These events welcome you to your new home at Bond University and provide you with time to find out about where you live, rules and time to socialise with fellow Bondies living on campus.

ORIENTATION EXHIBITION - The Orientation Exhibition is held on the Thursday of Orientation. You will find the exhibition hosts a variety of student services, sporting and social clubs as well as associations available to you at Bond, and a great way for you to find out about all areas available to you on campus.

STUDENT SERVICES - These are sessions held by the various student services available to you at Bond University. These include Student Learning Support, Career Development Centre, Beyond Bond, IT Services, Campus Tours, Library, Bond University Sport and more.

NYOMBIL INDIGENOUS SUPPORT CENTREThe Nyombil Indigenous Support Centre provides academic and cultural support for Bond’s Indigenous students. The Centre provides assistance with the unique challenges, in particular related to cultural differences Indigenous students may face in moving from remote communities and undertaking the new challenge of university study.

Admissions CheckFor students who are unable to enrol, come in for an Admissions Check. All students must return their Response to Offer and any outstanding documentation for enrolment.

Collect Student ID CardOnce you’ve enrolled, have your Student ID Card issued.

Get Connected• Parking and security: After you have received your Student

ID Card, make your way to Security to activate your card and receive your parking permit.

• Activate your account: Activate your Student IT account after you become admitted by visiting newstudent.bond.edu.au to agree to the terms and conditions, and create your password.

• Connect to Wi-Fi: Select the ‘BondStudents’ Wi-Fi network and enter your Student IT Account login details to connect.

• Printing from your Student ID Card: Connect to the printing network by visiting the Main or Law Library, and associate your card at the printer.
