    Guidelines for Resume Verification

    As mentioned before, resume verification for all final year UG and PG branches will beheld from 7th September 2014.

    We will try and cover most of the branches on 7thSeptember itself.

    The resumes will be lockedon placement online portal on 6th September, 8 PM(Sharp!)

    Following are some guidelines for students:

    Pre-Verification:

    In this stage the students need to generate their resumes on channeli placement online.Make a print out of this generated resume and get it signed by your respective PR. Referto the previous notice to see the list of department PRs.

    The same signed copy of resume will be brought to Placement Office for FinalVerification, starting from 7th September.

    Contents to be added to resume and the respective documents for authentication:

    1. 10th and 12th Percentage

    - Original/ Attested (by concerned authority) copies of 10th and 12th grade sheets.Please note that self-attested copies WONT be entertained.

    - In case percentage of marks is not mentioned in the grade sheets, students need tomake appropriate calculations for the same on a separate sheet of paper. This sheet of

    paper needs to be carried during final verification.

    2. CGPA

    - Last semestersgrade sheet shall be used for verification of cgpa.

    - Post graduate students MUST carry the grade sheets of their respective bachelor'sdegree.

    3. Summer Internship/ Industrial Internship

    - Students need to show their original/ attested internship certificates for the same.

    4. Any extra-curricular achievement/ academic achievement

    - If a student is/ was a member of any student group or any other organization, he/sheneeds to furnish the original certificate of the same. Same is the case for anyachievements in any fests/ competitions.

    - In case certificates are not available (say robocon/ img); all the group members need toget one common letter signed, with names of ALL team members along with theirpositions of responsibility (if any) from their respective professor in-charge.

    - NO ONE will be allowed to add any achievement without proper authentication!

    5. On-campus projects/ course projects

    - Get a letter signed from your respective professors saying that you have completed/are working on that project.

    - In case of course projectsa common letter can be signed by the course in-chargestating the following

    -course name

    -student names

    -enrolment numbers

    -names of their respective project

    -name of professor in-charge.

    This MUST be signed by the course in-charge. Please coordinate with your respectivePRs for the same.

    6. Research papers and bachelors thesis.

    - Need to submit the appropriate source (acceptance letter/ certificate or any otherwritten proof) for research papers.

    - PG students must submit either the certificate of their original bachelors project thesisor some other written proof. In case you dont have a written proof of the same you needto get an email from your respective bachelors professor in charge (only from theirofficial email id! say [email protected]).

    7. Additional offline/ online courses

    - Only completed courses will be counted. Students must show the certificates of same.

    - Example - You can add coursera courses but we will check your coursera account forthe proof of completion of course along with the certificate!

    8. References

    - In case your reference is not from this institute you need to get a letter from them orprint out of a mail from them.

    9. Category (if applicable)

    - Original category certificate needs to be furnished at the time of final verification.

    Note for PG students If you want to show work experience in your resume you mustfurnish either the joining letter or the letter of appointment for the same.

    All the students are instructed to arrange for their certificate at the earliest. Oncethe resume is locked no more changes will be possible.

    Please follow the above guidelines for filling up your resume.

    Verification guidelines

    1. A branch wise schedule will be put up for resume verification. PLEASE BE ONTIME.

    2. Bring T&P copy of the bank challan with you.

    3. Bring a copy of your resume (signed by PR) and all Certificates.

    4. Student should arrange the documents for verification strictly in the order in whichthey appear in their resume.

    5. Non-production of documents at the time of verification will lead to cancellation ofregistration.

    6. PhD students are required to submit a NOC from his/her guide stating thatstudent will complete by 2014 and guide has no objection in placementregistration.

    7. No Corrections/Updation will be allowed in the resume henceforth.

    8. Any ambiguity regarding percentage obtained in 10th/12th/UG level/PG level,rounding off of CGPA. at the time of verification will lead to cancellation ofregistration.

    9. All the QIP/Sponsored/part-time students will not be allowed to register forPlacements.
