(1) Description of Function :

Blood Bank Refrigerator is used to store blood bags under controlled temperature. (Critical)

(2) Technical Specifications :

a) Microprocessor based temperature controller with integrated audio visual temperature and power alarm function with digital monitoring display. (Critical)

b) Set temperature 4 degree C. (Critical)

c) Temperature range 2 degree C to 6 degree C and adjustable with setting accuracy of +/- 0.5 degree C. (Critical)

d) Capacity: should be able to accommodate 300 standard blood bags for each of 450 ml capacity. (Critical)

e) Vertical Cabinet (upright) with interior lighting with lockable castor wheel for easy mobility. (Critical)

f) Should perform in External ambient temp up to +50 degree C. (Critical)

g) External construction Corrosion resistant sheet of required thickness. (Critical)

a) Max. RCF.: 6000 X g. adjustable at 1 g steps.

b) Max. Speed: 4.200 rpm or more.

c) Swing-out bucket rotors with suitable adaptors for 12 blood bags including quadruple bags with filter of 350ml & 450 ml.

d) Removable plastic cups to hold single / double / triple / quadruple blood bags with partition in every bucket.

e) Max. Volume: 12 quadruple blood bag system.

f) Drive unit: Directly and maintenance free induction drive.

g) Operation: Unlimited and defined programming of all parameter, automatic programming sequence controlled by microprocessor, digital display of nominal and actual values.

h) Program memory: Capacity to store 33 centrifugation programs.

(3) The unit shall be capable of operating in ambient temperature of 20-30 deg. C and relative humidity of 80%.

[E] Power Supply

(1) Power input to be 220-240 VAC, 50Hz fitted with Indian plug.

(2) Resettable over current breaker shall be fitted for protection.

(3) Compatible Servo voltage stabilizer must be supplied along with equipment.

[F] Standards and safety

(1) Should incorporate Safety features for imbalance detection, lid interlock, over temperature, rotor over speed etc.

(2) Electrical safety conforms to standards for electrical safety IEC- 61010 /IS-13450.

(3) Product Certification: CE Class II A or US FDA certified.

(4) Should be compliant to ISO 13485: Quality systems Medical devices Particular requirements for the application of ISO 9001 applicable to manufacturers and service providers that perform their own design activities.

(5) Should comply with IEC/TR 61010-3-020: Safety requirements for electrical equipment for IEC 61010-2-020: 1992 particular requirements for laboratory centrifuges.

(6) User-list with contact details must be provided for verification.

(7) Service Center and service engineer both must be based in Gujarat.

(8) Calibration certification at the time to supply and during warranty annually.
