Environment
1. Wage Employment Programme - for the unemployed and semi skilled youth from villages, slums and streets – Identify, verify credentials, skill and place.
2. Waste Collection and Disposal Programme by RWA to provide better sanitation facilities.
3. Managing Construction waste – A model for replication
4. Introduce Penal Action for Misuse of Water – HUDA
5. Low cost toilets to be built over the next six months – HUDA
6. Conduct a sample survey to identify the total number of submersible pumps with the objective of devising policies for better water resource management in the city- HUDA

Advocacy & Governance
1. Hold periodic seminars on specific themes – to identify, showcase scalable projects and connect with investors and partners.
2. Media Campaign to highlight issues, solutions and initiatives by stakeholders
3. Invite and enrol additional organizations and citizens to join the movement
4. Create GRM Website for good web presence
5. Advocacy through Social Media Networking

1.Task Forces meeting every month to give strategic direction
2.Project Development Seminars with stakeholders around specific thematic areas to co-create solutions
3.Working with the government to take suitable steps to address the following Issues:
– Removal of Encroachments– Adequate Utilization of EDC Charges collected for external
development– Waste Management Systems– Sewage Systems– Sector Roads– Traffic Congestion– Security Concerns– City beautification & greening

PROGRESS IN MARCH 2012
Highlights
1) DLF Foundation Hosted a Workshop on 20 March at CSR Liveweek Conference held in Gurgaon participated by over 350 Corporates and NGO Participants. Gurgaon Renewal Mission was presented in details.
2) GRM Propagated during the exhibition and various facets displayed at CSR Livewire Exhibition, held in Gurgaon
3) Project Development Workshop on “Infrastructure Planned for 17 of April, 2011
4) Specific initiatives under “Infrastructure and Governance”, planned. A Short-term and long-term action plan prepared by Task Force.
