VMP 945-Epidemiology and Public Health
● This course provides students through a combination of lectures and activities with the many aspects of veterinary epidemiology. The core of the course is on the role
epidemiologists in animal-human-environmental health and how their work is
imbued in the different aspects of the profession.
VMP 904- Swine Industry
● This course provide veterinary students with expertise to approach a clinical swine problem and also to understand and analyze different parameters from a swine
production. Students evaluate clinical signs, analyze and understand production
records, epidemiological data, understand regulations and economic analysis.
Students also learn how to set up clinical trials, to interpret serological and
virological results, to perform necropsy and to understand swine reproductive
management.
VMP 984- Swine Health Management I ● This course provide senior veterinary students with techniques and expertise to
approach a clinical swine problem.
