PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONGipsskivelim is used for mounting of plaster boards on beams of steel or wood. The adhesive is water borne with high solid con-tents and good adhesion to several materials. The adhesive is joint filling and have a consistency that gives immediately adhesion and fast bonding strength.
AREA OF USAGEFor mounting of plasterboards on beams of steel or wood. One of the substrates must be porous/absorbent.
WORKING INSTRUCTIONThe adhesive must have a temperature of minimum +18oC. Plaster boards and beams must have a temperature of minimum +10oC. Apply the adhesive with a hand gun. Suitable diameter of nozzle is 3-4 mm. Apply the adhesive in a straight line on beams if not joining two boards. Apply the adhesive in a zigzag pattern (ca 100 mm between crests) or two straight lines on beams when joi-ning two boards. Do not apply more adhesive for mounting 2.3 boards at a time. Press the plaster board to the beams, and fixate with screws (normally 15 screws per board). Mounting must take place in 20 minutes from applying the adhesive. Clean tools with water before it has dried. Dried adhesive is removed with Bostik Limtvätt.
