STUDY BACKGROUND
‘Human Rights’ is a much talked-about issue all over the world
Human rights condition in developing countries like is not satisfactory in many cases
Bangladeshi people also face violation of human rights Knowledge and awareness on human rights is key to
human rights protection Human rights knowledge and practice of people of
remote areas are mostly unknown in the country Nagorik Odhikar endeavors to improve the human
rights condition for grass-roots level people
OBJECTIVES
Three key objectives: To know the awareness of the people about human
rights To explore their knowledge about human rights To unearth the practice of human rights
METHODOLOGY
Main method: Survey Study area: Sadar Upazila, Borguna Source of information: Primary source Data collection technique: Interview Data collection instrument: Interview Schedule Sampling technique: Stratified Sampling Sample size: 598
