The spot light operator will be able to look through the glass screen and see all the details required to complete the spot light cue. Once the light cue is called by the stage manager via headset, the light board operator will “Go” to the appropriate lighting cue on the light board. A signal will be sent from the light board to a computer to trigger the next spot light cue. The software on the computer will then transmit the cue details to the glass screen for the spot light operator to reference. The spot light operator will then prepare and execute the cue using the telrad that is also located on the glass screen.

This idea is meant to make the “Show Flow” of audience members and box office employees easier. The audience member will arrive at the venue with the application installed on their phone. Beacons throughout the space will recognize the arrival of the audience member (Region Monitoring). It will send a signal to the box office server saying the audience member has “checked in.” The server will then access the seat location map and send it to the audience member’s phone allowing the audience member to locate their seat themselves. Once the show is over, the beacons will recognize the audience member departing and send them a push notification. (Push Notification can be anything from “Thanks for coming” or “Would you like to see the process of the show?” or “If you would like to write a review, yes or no?”)
