togetherbrings usTrust
Dear Parents, Dear Children:
Families throughout the world have been putting their trust in HABA for 70 years. Our wooden toys made in Germany have satisfied customers from Finland to Australia, to Japan and Canada.
Children’s imaginations are inspired by colors and shapes. Parents expect a high level of playing value.
HABA combines both of these elements into the appealing designs of our toys to support your child’s development phases and in doing so provide great enjoyment as well.
Our inspirational toys should be exciting for little ones, nice and sturdy to grip, stack or roll around. Parents should be able to count on HABA for quality and safety.
Products from HABA are manufactured using controlled, tested materials and are conti-nually tested in each production lot. Our toys conform to the European regulations and the American standards for toy safety.
Since 2010 HABA has held the PEFC certificate that proves we use wood from sustainable forestry. The special natural and mechanical wood qualities in combination with bright colors and shapes simply make for great toys.

That’s why we believe -
Children who play, win !
Children don’t play to learn,
But they do learn through play.Children who play are not alone Children play with other children and with adults. Especially when playing with parents, children not only enjoy the game itself, but also the certainty that - “I’m important. Someone has time for me”.
Children who play are bravePlaying means starting something without knowing exactly what will happen and how things will turn out. Children can test themselves within the limited duration of a game.
Children who play talkGames involve lots of discussion - before, during and after each one. Games played in a family often develop their own special rules. This also involves a lot of communication, because all of the players have to talk to each other, discuss and agree.
Children who play listenEvery game has rules that have to be understood, remembered and followed. Games with rules help to develop concentration skills and improve the memory.
Children who play experience feelingsThe winner is tickled pink. The loser is sad, disappointed and sometimes even angry. But every child learns - there is always the next game.
Children who play use their imaginationA clever detective today; a daring pirate tomorrow - Games allow children to take on different roles and discover new worlds.
Children who play learn to be patient So that everybody enjoys the game, patience and concent-ration are required in equal measure from all players.
Of course, there are many other areas that games can benefit - counting , recognizing colors and shapes, gross and fine motor skills, memory, logical thinking, forward planning and many more. For primary school children, the spectrum can be expan-ded to include themes in the curriculum, such as the alphabet, reading and arithmetic.
