EFFECTS ON LIFE
INTRODUCTION
We going to start by understanding creativity then connections of creativity to life and daily basis. How can we manifest creativity and its wasfinally what are the habits that kills creativity
What is Creativity ?
• Creativity is the act of turning new and imaginative ideas into reality.
• Creativity is characterized by the ability to perceive the world in new ways, to find hidden patterns.
• to make connections between seemingly unrelated phenomena, and to generate solutions.
“Creativity” is one of those grab-bag terms, like “happiness” and “love,” that can mean so many things it runs the risk of meaning nothing at all
Creativity in philosophy
Creativity and Body language
Scientists found that people working together on a project that had moved their heads and bodies the same way came up with more creative solutions. When people were in sync, they were working better together. They were generating more creative ideas together
Creativity and personality
There are some personality traits that drives to creativity.Creative individuals are remarkable for their ability to adapt to almost any situation and to make do with whatever is at hand to reach their goals.
Complexity discipline imagination and fantasy humble and proud rebellious and conservative
Have you ever thought about why
some people are more creative
than others?
People are lazy and likely to spend minimum effort on getting things done.
Our brains like to follow known patterns instead of reinventing a process every single time.
This tendency makes us far less creative and therefore – less efficient.
Here are seven common
habits that kill creativity.
1A creative idea cannot be bornin an environment limited by
logic and rationality.
You’re Too Logical
Logic stifles creativity and blinds you to essential insights from different kinds of analyses, from consumer groups to market.
2Finding one solution
is onlythe beginning of a long
process.
You choose the first solution
This habit never motivates you to play withalternative ideas, efficiently killing any creative bone in your body.
3Many of us think that mostquestions generate only one
correct answer.
You believe that there’s only one right answer
There exist manydifferent approaches to tackling a challenge and that’s what makes a field interesting.
4Being a novice isn’t a bad
thing – in fact, it happens to everyone starting a career in a
new field.
You lack expert knowledge
If you’re new to a discipline, and you never took the time to study the basics properly, you’ll inevitablyput a strain on your creativity.
5A bloated ego will make you missout on fantastic opportunities for
growth and learning.
You’ve got too muchexpert knowledge
If you’re convinced that you know everything, you’relimiting yourself to experience only one side of the industry.
6Stop mulling over LOTS
of data.STOP.
You’re overwhelmedby data
Ask or look for just enough information and allow yourself some space for creative thinking.
7Everyone has a
potential for creativity, only most decide that it’s not worth to use it
in theirdaily lives.
You just think you’renot creative
Ignorance of the creative process is not lack of creativity– it’s a choice.
Is your LAZINESS getting in the way of your CREATIVITY?
HOW to manifest Creativity
Hyper alertness Clear and Rested Minds Additional stimulation Zero distractions Enter the trance Collaboration Your own formula – mine is the pressure cooker Notebook Criticism from others (and self) Environments and activities you can use to stimulate creativity
