Tips on looking after your Effortless Hair Extension (EHE) If youre wearing EHE most days, then we

recommend that you wash them after 4-6 wearings.

Before shampooing, gently remove any tangles by teasing them out with your fingers or a pick comb. Do not brush.

Add one teaspoonful of any mild shampoo to two quarts cold NEVER HOT water.

Immerse the hair and soak for 3 to 5 minutes, then gently swish the hair up and down the bowl. Do not rub shampoo or conditioner into the EHE.

Rinse thoroughly twice in cold water.

Dab gently with a towel to remove excess water. Do not squeeze or twist.

While still wet, spray with a leave in conditioner that is specifically formulated for synthetic hair. (Try Mane n Tail spray on conditioner for synthetic hair, available from most large supermarkets).

Place your EHE on a towel at room temperature and allow to dry.

Style with fingers or pick comb. You may use a hair dryer but we do not advice when its soaking wet. Also dont use curling irons, brush or a comb on the extension while theyre still wet, this could damage them.

When curling your extensions with hair tongs, its recommended that you style separately from your own hair to avoid damaging your own hair. Mist the extensions with water and divide the hair into thin strands. Use a high heat on the curling tongs and hold for 45 seconds then slip the curl into your hand and allow to cool. Its essential that you hold the shape of the curl for about 15 to 30 seconds (or until the hair cools down) to keep the curl. Professional beauty shop curling irons are also strongly recommended, as the curls are easier to achieve at 150 degrees Celsius (300+ Fahrenheit).

Remember like everything in life practice makes perfect. When trying on EHE for the first time, play around with them by taking them off and putting them back on until you find the perfect fit and follow the instructions. If you feel the fine wire, dont worry as this feeling should go away after a couple of wears or at worst feel like youre wearing a hair-band.
