Arrival at Jeddah

• Check your patience, could take hours• Here check in with muallim

– Organizer on the Saudi side for buses, tents, passports, etc

• Get transported to Makkah Mukarramah

Entering the Haram

• Called Haram• Symbolizes the court

of Allah (swt)– Unlawful to hunt, trap

or frighten an animal, chop a tree, to cut a blade of grass, etc

– Enter with humility with labbaik flowing from lips

Dua when entering Haram

حمي اللهم إن هذا حرمك وحرم رسولك فحرم ل آمن مار اللهلى النع ريشبو ظميعو ميدو من ي

ئك عذابك يوم تبعث عبادك واجعلني من أوليا الر ابوالت تأن كإن ليع بتو تكل طاعأهومحي

Heading to Makkah

• Consume yourself with dhikr• Establish yourself in your room first• Make ghusl or wudu before going to

masjid– Recommended even if state of purity exists

• Women in state of hayd or nifas cannot go to masjid– Do dhikr until opportunity arises

Towards Masjid

• Head towards Masjid with humility reciting talbiyah

• Enter from Salam Door; if not possible then from Umrah Door

• Enter Masjid with right foot and make duaand niyyah for nafl itikaf

• No need for tahiyyatul masjid, greeting of masjid in this circumstance will be via tawaf

Sighting the Kabah

• When first see Kabah– say Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illah three times– Read salawat– Make dua (highly accepted)

• Entry into jannah without account• That other duas be accepted
