DEMO #1: Fred Wissen (aka PTownSubbie) will be demonstrating various clear casting examples. He will use Alumilite for the demonstration but will also discuss PR brands he has also used to clear cast pen blanks with labels, bottle caps, and metal foil pens demonstrated at recent meetings. You can also clear cast painted blanks, snakeskins, and other alternative materials.

DEMO #2: Tina Wissen (aka MrsPTownSubbie) will have a mini-workshop on how to make a poly-mer clay cane and pen. She will demonstrate various tools and share clay samples with whoever wants to learn to make a basic skinner blend, two types of fl ower canes, and how to assemble a polymer clay pen. More information can be found at http://www.hrpenturners.net/images/mar22/claydemo.pdf

Members are asked to bring the pen kit tubes they want to fi nish (and matching bushings) to make a pen during the clay workshop. If you already have your own clay supplies, we appreci-ate if you bring your own materials for this workshop.
