How often is a common person like you and meaffected by disasters? Not too often, perhaps.

But when you do get affected, do you know how to

react?

You suddenly get flooded?

A terrorist shoots at you?



A bomb explodes near you?



Your building catches fire?



You are probably right. These incidents are few andfar in between. Although, they have become morecommon than earlier.

But still, you are perhaps thinking I don¶t need to beprepared for them. As they won¶t come too often.

Your Mom¶s hand gets burnt?



Your Dad has a Heart Attack?

Disasters can strike us anytime. Most of the times,however, we are not prepared for them. Neither fornatural disasters, nor for daily medicalemergencies.

What, then, should be done?

DO NOT be a mere spectator. You should know how

to handle such emergencies. Thankfully, there is anorganization which knows how to handle thesescenarios. And trains you for free. Interested?

Dr. Angeli Qwatra is a medical rescue management expert having National

and international experience in the field of providing emergency aid measures.

As chairperson, Philanthrope, she is involved in a mega project aimed atproviding training on emergency aid measures to the masses.

She has been trained in this field both in India from The Red Cross Societyand abroad from the Safety First Institute, UK. She has worked with the Royal

British Army Field Hospital to get practical experience in rescue management.

An active member in implementing UNESCO projects on AIDS awareness inassociation with ACO, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of India, shewas involved in a pioneering initiative relating to vulnerability of children inHIV/AIDS affected families.

Dr. Bhishma Narain Singh Governor of Assam, Meghalya, Sikim,

Arunachal Pradesh and Tamil Nadu; Minister in Bihar; Cabinet Minister of

Parlimentary Affairs and Urban Development

Shri.Sudarshan Agarwal is Governor of Sikkim & has also served as the

Governor of the state of Uttarkhand. He has also served as a member of the

National Human Rights Commission.

Shri Krishna V Rajan is a former member of the Indian Foreign Service.

He has served in senior diplomatic assignments including in the rank of

Ambassador in a number of countries including France, USA, UK, Zambia,

Algeria and Nepal.
