Doug Wright's insight into human nature is remarkable, as demonstrated by the Pulitzer Prize winning I Am My Own Wife, which he penned. Ensemble Theatre was the first theatre in the nation to present a production of this play after its Broadway run and it remains one of my most favorite works. Later, he wrote the book for Grey Gardens and again Ensemble presented the regional premiere, so Hands On A Hardbody was a must in my mind. I loved it before I read it.

Honestly, I investigate a lot of plays, but it is rare that one brings me to tears and laughter within the hour it takes to read it. I simply had to do this play; this play, by the way, with 15 people and a truck in it. I had the same passion to present it as the characters gathered in this piece wanting to win the truck. Yes, it’s real, this really happened, these are real people portrayed by actors.

To embody the American Dream on four wheels, to embrace it with music by the inspired Trey Anastasio of Phish fame and lyrics by Amanda Green, to present the “human nature kind of thing” on stage for us to experience, it so honest, so real, so compelling that I have been obsessed with getting this production started.

Mind you, I love and respect my production team who has had some tough challenges thrown at them, including fitting Grey Gardens on our stage and creating rain and snow for The Mountaintop, but I was asking them to find, afford and fit a truck into this building, which originated as a bank. Yet, here we are.

If you know me and know my work you know I root for the underdog, care about the little things that make our world interesting and believe that the power of the human spirit is undefeatable. This philosophy has guided my choice of employment and my personal life. Hands On A Hardbody exemplifies who I am as well as what I love. It’s the process not the outcome that matters. It’s the way we live day to day not the way we end our lives that makes us who we are. It’s the dreams that we won’t compromise that keeps us uniquely human and perpetuates and inspires dreams yet to be born.

It’s enough to say I love this show and hope you do too, but I also hope you will leave with a song in your heart and perhaps a renewed dedication to a dream of your own. If that happens, everyone here will leave a winner.

GEOFFREY WARREN BARNES II (Ronald McCowan) is very happy to be working with ETC! A Cincinnati native, Mr. Barnes is excited to return to his hometown after twenty years. In the past, he has worked with the American Globe Theatre in New York City, St. Louis Black Repertory Company, Seattle Children’s Theatre, ZACH Theatre in Austin, Texas, and most recently with The Storm Theatre Company and Labyrinth Theater Company in New York City. Mr. Barnes holds a BFA

in Musical Theatre from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and an MFA in Acting from the University of Texas at Austin. He sends an abundance of love and positive energy to his amazing family and friends. He thanks Lynn Meyers for this wonderful opportunity!

MICHAEL G. BATH (Frank Nugent) appeared last season as Dr. Chumley in Harvey (The Carnegie), Joseph in The Irish Curse (Clifton Performance Theatre), as Francis Nurse in The Crucible (Xavier University with the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company), and as Passepartout in Around the World in 80 Days (Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati). His other favorite ETC roles include those in Opus, The Exonerated, Mauritius, Becky’s New Car, My Name is Asher Lev, Next Fall, and End

Days. He was also seen as Mervyn in A Behanding in Spokane (Clifton Performance Theatre) and Roy Cohn in Angels in America Parts One & Two (Know Theatre), among other roles. He currently teaches acting and improvisation for Playhouse in the Park and Afterschool Acting in addition to his stage work. Mr. Bath is a graduate of Wilmington College and a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association. Much love to his wife Trish and dog Obi.

MICHAEL GERARD CARR (Greg Wilhote) is thrilled to return to Ensemble’s stage. His past shows at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati include Stevie in Good People and Sebastian in Snow White. A proud graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College-Conservatory of Music Drama program and a past intern here at Ensemble Theatre, Mr. Carr has also had the good fortune to teach freshman Drama this past year at UC-CCM freshman Drama. As always, he thanks Lynn for the

opportunity and sends love to Mom, Dad, Erin, Lauren, Craig, and Amanda. He is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association.

CHARLIE CLARK (Benny Perkins) is thrilled to be back at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, where he was last seen as Don in Rapture, Blister, Burn. His previous Cincinnati credits include Next to Normal, Next Fall, Grey Gardens, Don’t Make Me Pull This Show Over, The Frog Princess, and Alice in Wonderland, all with Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati; Carousel, Oliver!, and Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, all at The Carnegie; Loves Labour’s Lost and Henry VIII, both with Cincinnati Shakespeare.

Other local credits include The Full Monty, Sunday in the Park with George, and Take Me Out for New Stage Collective; See What I Wanna See, Know Theatre; Hello Again, The Satori Group; and Charlie in The Charlie Clark Show at the 2008 Fringe Festival. His Chicago credits include Gabriel in Kiss of the Spider Woman, Apple Tree Theatre; The Hawkshaws, The Baum House; Frank in Merrily We Roll Along, Jack in Into the Woods, and Robert in Company, Porchlight Music Theatre Chicago. THE CAST CONT.JORDAN DE LEON (Jesus Peña), is thrilled to be back in Cincinnati, making his Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati debut! His regional credits include The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Drury Lane Oakbrook; Footloose, Kansas City Starlight Theatre; Les Misérables and The King and I, Music Theatre of Wichita; Godspell, Anything Goes, and All Shook Up , West Virginia Public Theatre. His academic credits include Singin' in the Rain, Threepenny Opera, Nutcracker Swing,

Spring Awakening, Chess, Out of This World, and The Civil War. Mr. De Leon is a graduate of the University of Cincinnati's College-Conversatory of Music in Musical Theatre. Thanks to Mom, Papa, Jared, The Five, his Pound Puppies, and ALL of his teachers, both past and present. He is a proud member of Actors' Equity Association. For Grandma and Jennie.

DENISE DEVLIN (Heather Stovall) is thrilled to come home again to Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, after playing Cindy Lou in the Marvelous Wonderettes Trifecta! She has spent the last year living and working in Melbourne, Australia. She recently starred as Dionne in the Australian Tour of Hair, touring through the state of Victoria, and had the opportunity to perform Joanne/Seasons of Love Soloist in CentreStage Geelong's sold-out run of Rent. She has sailed to over fifty

countries during her time aboard Disney and Celebrity Cruise Lines as a specialty vocalist. Her favorite roles include Susie in Snapshots at Human Race Theatre, Gertrude in the National Tour of Seussical, Aldonza in Man of la Mancha, Maria in the concert version of West Side Story with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, and Diana Morales in A Chorus Line. She has spent the rest of her free time in Australia teaching youth drama at the National Theatre, and thanks her husband Anthony for an amazing and adventurous first year of marriage.

PHIL FIORINI (JD Drew) is thrilled to be making his Ensemble Theatre debut. The last and only time he has performed in Cincinnati was at the Aronoff in The Lion King. He spent three and a half years on the Broadway tour playing Pumbaa the Warthog. His other National tours include Greater Tuna and A Tuna Christmas. Some of his favorite roles regionally over the years are: the Marquis de Sade in Quills, Falstaff in The Merry Wives of Windsor, Phil in Maritius, Dr. Parker in Bat

Boy, and Charlie in Dirty Blonde, to name a few. Mr. Fiorini is glad to be back in Cincinnati and owes a debt of gratitude to his supportive family and friends.

ANNIE FITZPATRICK (Cindy Barnes) recently appeared in Around The World In 80 Days at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati. Her other favorite ETC productions include: Next Fall, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Rabbit Hole, String of Pearls, Wayfarer’s Rest, Intimate Apparel, The Exonerated, Women of Lockerbie, and Earhart. In addition, she won Cincinnati Entertainment Awards for her performances in Copperheads, Dinner With Friends, and Mauritius. She appeared in Pride and Prejudice

and Hank Williams: Lost Highway, at Playhouse In the Park; A Man For All Seasons and Blithe Spirit at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company; and Pluto and Collapse at Know Theatre. She has worked regionally at The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Geva Theatre, CATCO, Human Race Theatre Co., Porthouse Theatre, and New Edgecliff Theatre. She was a founding member of The New Group in New York and toured internationally with Murder à La Carte. She has appeared in numerous soaps and in local and national commercials. Her TV and film credits include Those Who Kill on A&E, Army Wives, Little Accidents, Fun Size, and Milk Money.

MICHAEL FLANNERY (Don Curtis/Dr. Stokes) grew up in College Hill and has entertained Cincinnati for decades. Mr. Flannery appeared on local television for twenty-seven years and won seventeen Emmys for his work. Before television, he spent thirteen years on the road as a stand-up comic, earning appearances on Showtime, HBO, and Evening at the Improv. He also worked with Robin Williams, Jay Leno, Jerry Seinfeld, Pat Paulson, and The Smothers Brothers. Although

no stranger to the stage, Hands on a Hardbody is his Ensemble Theatre debut as well as his professional theater debut. In fact, he hasn’t been in a play since Roger Bacon’s 1976 production of Annie Get Your Gun. He would like to thank the ETC staff and his fellow actors. He dedicates his performance to friend and mentor Len Goorian. “Len has done just about everything there is to do in show business and done it well. On top of that, he’s always believed in me. Thanks, Rebbe.”

THE CAST CONT.DEB G. GIRDLER (Janis Curtis) began her career on the Showboat Majestic, attended University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, and has worked Off-Broadway, in regional theatre, and in summer stock for over thirty years. Some of her favorite productions have been presented here at ETC, including The Last Session, Three Tall Women, Three Viewings, and, of course, being the villainess in a multitude of holiday productions. Ms. Girdler is a Kentucky Colonel,

proud citizen of Westwood, and is always grateful to be able to work in Cincinnati, since she suffers from home-sickness whenever her work takes her away from home. She is listed in the official scripts of several shows as a cast member of the premiere productions, including the stage version of Rogers and Hammerstein’s Cinderella, Hoodwinked! The Musical, and It Runs in the Family by Ray Cooney.

SARA MACKIE (Norma Valverde) is a graduate of Wright State's Acting BFA program. Ms. Mackie has been fortunate to share the boards with Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati in all three Wonderette iterations as Betty Jean as well as the productions of Other Desert Cities, Rabbit Hole, Mauritius, and Alice in Wonderland, among others since 1999. Human Race Theatre Company credits include Olivia in Twelfth Night, and the premiere staged readings of three new musical

works: Guarding Gold Street, The Trimble Wars, and Red Blooded All-American Man. She has performed with the Carnegie Theatre in Camelot in Concert, Pump Boys and Dinettes, and the staged reading of The Sandman. She appeared in last year’s Hallmark Channel Original Movie, The Christmas Spirit, and can be seen in putting a bib on the Cowboy at the Montgomery Inn in this year's Reds spot. In addition to the small screen, short films, and web skits, she has toured to theatres across the country, but for now prefers to make Cincinnati her home.

DALLAS PADOVEN (Chris Alvaro) is a Senior Musical Theatre major at CCM and is ecstatic to be joining the Ensemble Theatre family for the first time! Recent credits: Singin' in the Rain, Legally Blonde, and Footloose, Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera; and South Pacific and Tommy, West Virginia Public Theatre. He has worked alongside Sally Struthers in her one-woman show Simply Sally Struthers, as well as Barnum and A Closer Walk With Patsy Cline at Totem Pole Playhouse.

His other credits include Les Misérables, Little Shop of Horrors, The Civil War, Wizard of Oz, Three Penny Opera, Joseph…Dreamcoat, and Street Scene. MICHAEL SHAWN STARKS (Mike Ferris) is thrilled to make his Ensemble Theatre debut in this fascinating new work! He had the honor of being a featured soloist alongside Broadway legend Lee Roy Reams and the Middletown Symphony Orchestra in The Carnegie's Birdie to Brice: 50 Years of Carmon DeLeone concert. He directed and appeared in Carrie: The Musical for Showbiz Players (for which he received an "Excellence in Direction" Orchid Award), as well as roles with

Cincinnati Music Theatre's Sunset Boulevard (Joe Gillis) and Company (Bobby). He has worked with numerous local companies including New Stage Collective, Mad Anthony, and the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, among others. His favorite shows include: Jerry Springer: The Opera, Chess, The Last 5 Years, The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!), Evita, and Baby. He made his professional debut at New York’s Lincoln Center in Babes in Toyland and was in the National Tour of Camelot. He made his directing debut with Greater Hamilton Civic Theater's The Haunting of Hill House in 2011. He dedicates this performance to his recently deceased Uncle Jimmy and his family. Love you guys!

BROOKE STEELE (Kelli Mangrum) is thrilled to be joining the amazing cast and production team of Hands on a Hardbody. Her favorite roles include Suzy Simpson in the three incarnations of The Marvelous Wonderettes at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati, Leni Riefenstahl in Monstrous Beauty (Northern Kentucky University), June the Ingenue in The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!) (Showboat Majestic) and the title role in Peter Pan (Covedale Center). She studied

theatre at NKU and was honored to receive an Acclaim Rising Star award in 2011. She lives in Pleasant Ridge with her husband, Josh, and their daughter, Daphne.

KATE WILFORD (Virginia Drew) was last seen here in Alice In Wonderland. Her other past Ensemble favorites are Becky’s New Car, Good People, Dead Man’s Cell Phone, Women Of Lockerbie, Snow White, Keeping The Faith, and Wayfarer’s Rest. She won Acclaim and CEA awards for her performance in Death Of A Salesman. Other award-winning performances were in When The Rain Stops Falling at Know Theatre and Don’t Make Me Pull This Show Over here at Ensemble Theatre.

She appeared at Cincinnati Shakespeare Company in Romeo And Juliet, The Cherry Orchard, All My Sons, and Bedroom Farce. She has worked at The Lyceum Theatre, Beef N Boards, Westgate Theatre, The Kenley Players, and was a founding member of The Troupe, as well as directed for Cincinnati Children’s Theatre and Xavier University. She is the Executive Director of Afterschool Acting and is also an adjunct acting and directing teacher at Thomas More College and CCM.

D. LYNN MEYERS is in her sixteenth season as the Producing Artistic Director of Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati where she has directed over fifty world and regional premieres, including Other Desert Cities, Rapture, Blister, Burn, Next to Normal, and The Whipping Man. She directed The Pavilion at Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park and Pride and Prejudice for Cincinnati Shakespeare Company. She directed Off- Broadway at the York Theatre with Marsha Norman’s Traveler

in the Dark and James McClure’s Max and Maxie. Her several Canadian national tours included Mass Appeal with the late great Gale Gordon. As a producer for Dove Audio, she produced and directed dozens of audio books. She served as the Associate Artistic Director at Cincinnati Playhouse for several seasons where she cast over a hundred productions as well as directed. In addition to directing, she is a member of the Casting Society of America and has cast for Hallmark, PBS, CBS, BBC, HBO, Paramount, and MGM. Her feature credits include is serving as Location Casting Director for Shawshank Redemption, Carol, and Miles Ahead. She was named one of four finalists for the Zelda Fichandler National Award in 2011, honoring directors whose work is making an impact on the art form and their community. She was honored as a YWCA Woman of Achievement and given the Cincinnati Entertainment Award for Continued Excellence. She is a proud graduate of Thomas More College and serves on the college’s Board of Trustees.

ABOUT THE CREATORSDOUG WRIGHT (Librettist) Doug Wright’s play Quills premiered at Washington, D.C.'s Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in 1995 and subsequently had its debut Off-Broadway at New York Theatre Workshop. Quills garnered the 1995 Kesselring Prize for Best New American Play from the National Arts Club and, for Wright, a 1996 Village Voice Obie Award for Outstanding Achievement in Playwriting. In 2000, Wright wrote the screenplay for the film

version of Quills which starred Geoffrey Rush. Wright’s I Am My Own Wife was produced Off-Broadway by Playwrights Horizons in 2003. It transferred to Broadway where it won the Tony Award for Best Play, as well as the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. The subject of this one-person play, which starred Jefferson Mays, is the German transvestite Charlotte von Mahlsdorf. In 2006, Wright wrote the book for Grey Gardens. The musical is based on the Maysles brothers’ 1975 film documentary of the same title about Edith Ewing Bouvier Beale (“Big Edie”) and her daughter Edith Bouvier Beale (“Little Edie”), Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis’s aunt and cousin. He adapted the Disney's film The Little Mermaid for the Broadway musical, which opened in 2007. In 2009, he was commissioned by the La Jolla Playhouse to adapt and direct Creditors by August Strindberg. In another La Jolla commission, he wrote the book for the musical Hands on a Hardbody, with the score by Amanda Green and Trey Anastasio. The musical had a brief run on Broadway in March and April 2013 after premiering at the La Jolla Playhouse in 2012. For television, Wright worked on four pilots for producer Norman Lear and teleplays for Hallmark Entertainment and HBO. In film, Wright’s credits include screenplays for Fine Line Features, Fox Searchlight, and DreamWorks SKG. He is a member of the Dramatists Guild and serves on the board of New York Theatre Workshop. He is a recipient of the William L. Bradley Fellowship at Yale University, the Charles MacArthur Fellowship at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, an HBO Fellowship in playwriting and the Alfred Hodder Fellowship at Princeton University. In 2010, he was named a United States Artists Fellow. Mr. Wright lives in New York City with his partner, songwriter David Clement.

AMANDA GREEN (Lyricist & Co-Composer) is a Tony-nominated lyricist/composer. She is the recipient of the 2013 Frederic Loewe Award from the Dramatists Guild (with collaborator Trey Anastasio) for her music for Hands On A Hardbody, one of two new musicals she premiered on Broadway in the 2012-2013 season. She also co-wrote the lyrics for Bring It On (currently on its second National Tour). For her work on Hands she was nominated for a Tony Award, Two Drama Desk

Awards (music, lyrics) and an Outer Critics Circle Award. She was nominated for a third Drama Desk Award the same year for her lyrics (with Lin Manuel Miranda) for Bring It On. Also on Broadway: High Fidelity (lyrics). NY and regional credits: Stars of David (original songs; 2013; DR2 Theater). Arthur Laurents asked her to write additional lyrics for the revival of Hallelujah Baby (Arena Stage, directed by Mr. Laurents). TREY ANASTASIO (Co-Composer) Sometimes it’s tempting to reflect on the road not taken. But while most of us regard a fork in the road as an either/or proposition – left or right? – Trey Anastasio instead sees a convergence of opportunities. Traveler, the new solo album that he co-produced with Peter Katis (The National, Interpol, Jónsi), marks the coalescence of the many roads. Anastasio has taken in his remarkable career and caps off a year that he characterizes as one of his

busiest, most creatively fulfilling yet. In the past 12 months, he’s toured the U.S. in three separate configurations: playing arenas with his band mates in the Grammy®-nominated, genre-busting band Phish, concert halls in a series of orchestral evenings conducted by the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Scott Dunn, and intimate clubs with his septet, Trey Anastasio Band. He also found time to co-write the music for Hands On A Hardbody with Amanda Green (High Fidelity). Penned by Pulitzer Prize winner Doug Wright, the musical premiered at Southern California’s La Jolla Playhouse in May 2012 and opened on Broadway in March 2013. “I really enjoy the give and take, the push and pull, the team work,” says Anastasio. “It’s one of the things I’ve always liked about Phish – the unified work together toward a goal. It’s so deeply satisfying. I felt that way as I made Traveler, working with Peter and all these new musicians, like we were sculpting something. And working on the play, Hands On A Hardbody, was very similar.” In the fall of 2012 Trey’s touring band, Trey Anastasio Band, returned to the road in support of Traveler, which also features many members of the band. From its beginnings in 1998 the band has included original members Russ Lawton (drums), and Tony Markellis (bass), and over the years has added Cyro Baptista (percussion), Ray Paczkowski (keys), Jennifer Hartswick (trumpet, vocals), Natalie Cressman (trombone, vocals). The latest tour featured newcomer James Casey (saxophones).

THE PRODUCTION TEAMBRANDON T. HOLMES (Production Stage Manager) is currently in his third season with ETC. He holds a BFA from Wichita State University in Technical Theatre and Design. He served as Production Stage Manager for LOOK Musical Theatre in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He also worked with Music Theatre Wichita for four summers where he assistant stage managed over twenty productions. He moved to Cincinnati to spend two seasons at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park as a stage management intern. His other credits include the Cincinnati Fringe Festival, Theatre in the Park, Kansas City Starlight, and Wichita Center for the Arts. His favorite productions include Thunder Knocking on the Door, Merrily We Roll Along (directed by John Doyle), Disney’s The Little Mermaid, The Producers, Miss Saigon, Tribes, and Sunset Boulevard. PRODUCTION TEAM CONT.BRIAN c. MEHRING (Resident Set & Lighting Designer) has designed over 100 productions at ETC. His favorite productions include: Thom Pain (based on nothing), Next to Normal, 33 Variations, Freud's Last Session, and I Am My Own Wife. Mr. Mehring’s regional favorites for set design include: The Last 5 Years and I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change, Playhouse in the Park; Henry IV, Part 1, The Georgia Shakespeare Festival; and I Am My Own Wife, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Peterborough Players, and Florida Studio Theatre.

SHANNON RAE LUTZ (Properties Master/Design Assistant) earned her Master’s degree in 1996 and became Prop Master at ETC. Ms. Lutz would like to thank the Cincinnati theatre community and patrons for their generous, supportive and tenacious spirit. Trained as a performer, she first appeared on ETC’s stage during the 1989 New Works Festival. In 1991, she was granted an ETC Internship. Now the Director of Intern Programming, she is honored to guide ETC’s essential ensemble: the Intern Company. She would like to thank her family for their persistent love and support, Ruth D. Sawyer for lessons in art, life, and integrity, and D. Lynn Meyers for her dedication to our dreams.

PATTI JAMES' (Choreographer) previous work at ETC includes: Life Could Be a Dream, Marvelous Wonderettes, Grey Gardens, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, and Mack and Mabel. She has performed and choreographed shows in the U.S., Canada, and Australia. She has worked in musicals, theme parks, film, television, and industrial shows. U.S. tours include Chicago and Ballroom. Ms. James is an Adjunct Assistant Professor of Musical Theatre at University of Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music, teaching tap and jazz, as well as a choreographer. For eight years, she has directed and choreographed Home for the Holidays, featuring the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra. For the Cincinnati Pops Orchestra, she choreographed the 2004 Today’s Tonys and the 2007 Red, White, and Boom at Riverbend. She has worked with the Northern Kentucky Symphony on Jesus Christ Superstar, Evita, and Oliver. She choreographed the production of Mariel for Playhouse in the Park and has worked on several productions with The Carnegie in Covington. She lives with her husband Keith and they have two married daughters, Alexis and Emmett and Little E, and Chloe and Eric.

PRODUCTION TEAM CONT.JEREMY LEE (Sound Designer) is thrilled to be making his ETC premiere with Hands on a Hardbody. His previous Cincinnati designs include the world premiere of Theresa Rebeck's Dead Accounts at the Cincinnati Playhouse in the Park, and last season's Les Misérables at CCM. His design work includes the international productions of Nilo Cruz’s Pais de Bicicleta (Bogota) and David Edgar's Continental Divide (London's Barbicon Theatre, Birmingham Rep). He was the Associate Designer for the Bridge Project's 2010 World Tour of The Tempest and As You Like It, and the assistant designer for Tarzan in Holland and 42nd Street in Moscow. Off-Broadway, Mr. Lee has designed Tamar Of The River and Working for Prospect Theatre Company, The Ohmies, Adam Bock’s The Thugs, Alex Timbers’ Dance Dance Revolution, Song For New York (Mabou Mines), as well as designs for NYTW, 13P, LAByrinth, Clubbed Thumb and many others. Favorite regional theatre designs include Somewhere (Premiere, Old Globe and TheatreWorks Palo Alto); West Side Story (5th Avenue Theatre), and many shows at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. Mr. Lee is a professor of Sound Design at CCM.

SCOT WOOLLEY (Musical Director) has appeared at Ensemble Theatre Cincinnati in 33 Variations, Grey Gardens, and Souvenir (also at Vienna’s English Theatre). He created Broadway arrangements for State Fair, and Off-Broadway vocal arrangements for Tapestry, the Music of Carole King. Other ETC credits include 25 The Musical, Cinderella, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Mack and Mabel, and Nite Club Confidential. He also composed the theme for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade float in 2004. Playhouse credits include conducting for Rocky Horror, Candide, Carnival, as well as performing in the world premiere of Ace. National tours include Crazy for You, Tommy, and The Will Rogers Follies. Mr. Woolley's orchestral arrangements have been heard in Atlanta, Portland, Indianapolis, Hong Kong and regularly with the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra.

REBA SENSKE (Costume Designer) is CCM's Associate Costume Designer. She's designed costumes for ETC's Becky's New Car, My Name is Asher Lev, Dead Man's Cell Phone, 33 Variations, Mauritius, Grey Gardens, The Seafarer, The Great American Trailer Park Musical, Mary's Wedding, Rabbit Hole, Souvenir, String of Pearls, I Am My Own Wife, Nite Club Confidential, and Hedwig and the Angry Inch (2001), among countless others. Her other credits include ETC's world premiere holiday productions of Ugly Duck, Cinderella, The Frog Princess, Alice in Wonderland, and Sleeping Beauty, as well as Side Man, A Question of Mercy, Edward Albee's Seascape, and Traveler in the Dark. Recent CCM credits include: Hot Summer Nights, Violet, We Tell the Story, and Lady Day at Emerson's Bar and Grill. Other CCM credits include: Singin' in the Rain, The Boys from Syracuse, Oklahoma!, and Big River. She designed Noah's Flood for the May Festival and is Cincinnati Opera's costume coordinator. She designed Ainadamar, Cosi Fan Tutti, and most recently, Calisto for the Cincinnati Opera.

ETC BOX OFFICE HOURS & ACCEPTED PAYMENTMonday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and 2 hours prior to curtain. Weekend hours vary. VISA, MC, Discover, and AmEx are accepted, as well as Downtown Gift Cards.

TICKET RESERVATIONS & SALE POLICYReservations can be made by calling the box office, in person, or online. Ticket reservations are not accepted via email. Single-ticket purchases are a final sale with no refund. Single tickets may, however, be exchanged for another performance during the run of a show for a fee, but may not be exchanged from one production to another. If a patron is a no-show for their reserved performance, ETC is under no obligation to reschedule his or her tickets.

TAX CREDITSIf for any reason you cannot attend your performance and cannot reschedule for another date, tickets released prior to performances by calling the ETC box office are fully deductible as a charitable contribution. No-shows or tickets released after curtain time do not qualify as tax credits.

PARKINGPatrons may park at the Gateway Garage (accessible via 12th Street) or at the surface lot, both are conveniently located at the corner of Vine and 12th Streets. Parking is also available at Washington Park Garage and Mercer Commons Garage.

CHILDRENChildren under the age of 4 will not be admitted to productions unless otherwise advertised. Parents with disruptive children will be asked to leave the theatre.

LATECOMERS & ADMITTANCELatecomers will be seated at the House Manager’s discretion and may be denied admission depending upon the demands or structure of a particular production. Should you need to leave the theatre during a performance, readmittance is not guaranteed. ETC reserves the right to deny admission and/or remove any disruptive patrons from the theatre at any time.

RESTROOMSRestrooms are located at the front of the lobby. Should you need to use the restroom during a performance, please exit the theatre the same way you came in. Readmittance will be at House Manager's discretion.

ACCESSIBILITY Please notify the box office in advance if you require wheelchair-accessible seating or have special seating needs and our staff will be happy to accommodate you. Audio-enhancement available. Generally, sign-interpreted performances are on the third Wednesday of every production.

CAMERAS, CELL PHONES & STAGEActors’ Equity Association strictly prohibits the use of cameras or recording devices (including camera phones) in the theatre. Kindly turn off any cell phones or pagers prior to the show starting. Text messaging during the show disturbs other audience members and actors and will not be tolerated. For safety reasons, audience members are strictly prohibited from standing, sitting or otherwise being or putting anything onstage at any time.
