So, it is time to bring up a different and variable change in the field of transmission lines and the current control in it. Transmission lines is a specialized cables invented to carry alternating current with a frequency that is high enough that their wave nature must be taken into account (radio frequency). It carries high voltage current to the distribution system. The two systems together is known as power grids.In the olden method of power transmission, the faults and disturbances where diagnosed by with the help of a technician, himself getting over the transmission lines and repairing the faults. This was the traditional way of fault detection. Later on, a robot was made which drags along the transmission lines and detects the faults and mistakes are scanned at regular intervals using a camera. This scanner or the non destructive element takes pictures which is used for non destructive testing, mainly using ultrasonic waves, radio scanning methods, etc.. Fault detection mainly includes the faults in the transmission lines, all the conductors are in proper order ie., whether there is break in any conductors; to find out the length parameters, to find out the voltage ratings, to find the coronal losses. This already existing method has many drawbacks and can be improvised further. Here, we are trying to bring up a new method that would overcome the faults in this method. Our proposed system brings out a unique remedy and is different from all other systems. In the existing system, when there is an obstruction the robot jumps over it. This method is satisfying when the obstruction is small, not is not when its a large obstruction. The proposed system has a mechanism which can overcome the problems arising in it. The robot which we have innovated has a hang and hold mechanism which includes a camera for scanning the faults. This can overcome the drawback found in the existing method. This system is modified so that only a perfect system with advanced integration of technology can manage system, where the proposed system is the perfect one to overcome all these difficulties.
