Ideation and Conceptualisation Exploration of an innovation through entirely hand drawn posters.

Ideation and Conceptualisation

Graphic CommunicationDisplay of research into creativity within companies and what impacts creativity.

Pencil Sharpener ProjectAn ongoing first year project focusing on the design process, particularly model making and design communication.

Sketch studies for a physical prototype exploring shape, form and assembly.

Communicating design details and assembly through solidworks and rendering with keyshot.

Prototyping using FDM rapid prototyping and other processes including hot wire cutting, vacuum forming and hand tooling.

Waitrose Sustainable Project

“Make a habit of two things, to help or to do no harm”

Definition of sustainability

Hippocrates

A project that focused on sustainability and the wider issues that need to be consider around this area such as economic and social impacts. The brief being to change consumer thoughts and habits when shopping, to ultimately reduce and prevent food waste and its associated packaging.

Prevention is at the top of the waste management hierarchy, so why are we still producing so much waste?

BEHAVIOUR

A range of concepts exploring solutions to waste generation that occurs during a Waitrose shopper user journey.

Technical Skills

Electronics challenge to design and build a white line and obstacle avoiding robot.

Projects demonstrating mathematics in bridge building, electronics in robotics as well as materials and process evaluation using CES Edupack software.

A bridge design with very strict material and construction parameters combined with spatial and geometric constraints. This design exceeded the load bearing capacity of all previous years.

Materials and process evaluation for a kayak paddle taking account of working loads, environment and operational requirements.

A few words and photos to describe who I am and what I’m about.

Scouting has allowed me to be part of some amazing experiences, included are hiking through Loire Valley in

France as well as sailing, canoeing and camping.Photography is a skill I have taught

myself and feel very passionate about. The compositions of each photo are

carefully considered for visual impact.

About Me

Ultimate Frisbee is a sport I took up at University and thoroughly enjoy. The fast paced, self-refereed sport

requires precision, accuracy, stamina and most of all a friendly attitude and good

sportsmanship.

Art is a another skill like photography that I’ve

developed over many years and have created my own

identity and style.
