We gained around a dozen new accounts in the following weeks
after the event, which included single spot orders through to large
multi-item schedules. Interestingly, there were a number of visitors
to our stand from outside the oil and gas industry who have since
become clients. The revenue from these new clients more than
paid for cost of the exhibition space.

The company initially had serious doubts about
attending Offshore Europe 2015 due to the industry
downturn but it turned out to be significantly better than
they had dared to hope for.
Spring manufacturer Hanson Springs is exhibiting at SPE
Offshore Europe for the third time in 2017 following
substantial business success from the 2013 and 2015
events.
Hanson Springs found
that their ‘giveaways’ at
the event, including a
spring-coiled egg cup,
proved particularly
popular in attracting new
visitors to the stand. The
company also included
an Offshore Europe link
on staff email signatures
in the lead up to the
event to raise
awareness of
attendance to customers
and potential customers.
The event proved successful too for client
retention and Hanson Springs believe exhibiting at
industry events such as SPE Offshore Europe
2017 has real benefits for companies in the current
market conditions.
