01 Feb Job Fair. A job fair, under the aegis of

Employment Exchange, Lucknow was organized at our campus. Nearly two hundred companies participated in the event. Shri Swami Prasad Maurya, Hon’ble Minister for Labour , Employment and Coordination, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh was the chief guest. Smt Sudha Pandey, Employment Exchange officer, Lucknow Division, Lucknow was the chief host. Shri Abhishek Prakash, DM, Lucknow, Shri Kumal Silku, IAS, Sri Manish Bansal, CDO etc. graced the occasion.

05-09 Feb Defence Expo Lucknow 2020 showcases

the comprehensive spectrum of India's aerospace, defence and security interests. Delegates from 70 countries and 172 foreign military manufacturers attended the five-day mega exhibition. As many as 856 Indian defence firms also showcase their products at the event.

Dr. Ashish Awasthi, along with students

of SRMGPC visited the Expo. Where the students enjoyed the Defence shows such as battle field operations and air show. The event gave vast knowledge and sense of pride.

The main theme of the Expo is 'India: The Emerging Defence Manufacturing Hub' and the

focus will be on 'Digital Transformation of Defence'. !!!!!JAI HIND!!!!! 05-07 Feb IEEE International Conference on Contemporary Computing (IC3A-2020). The mega

conference was organized by AKTU under the aegis of TEQIP 3. Prof Vikrant Bhateja of this college was co-opted in the organizing team as Technical Progmme Committee Chair. His sterling services in making the conference a great success were applauded by AKTU. As a token of appreciation he was presented a memento and a certificate by Prof Vinay Pathak, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, AKTU. Well Done.

11 Feb Birth Day- Pankaj Sir – A mandir program was

organized to celebrate the birthday of Pankaj Sir, our ED. The prayers were offered to Almighty for the well being of sir. The brief function was attended by Mrs. Pooja Agarwal and all the devotees.

14 to 16 Feb Well done. Our students of ME department participated in Technex, the annual techno- management fest of IIT (BHU), Varanasi and bagged the top awards as given below –

Mr Vidhan Chaudhary & Mr Ajay Kumar, students of 2nd year, were awarded the 1st Position while in Robowars (15 Kg category). Mr Nishkarsh Sharma and Aman Pandey, students of 1rst year and 2nd year respectively, were awarded the 3rd Position in Robowars ( 15 Kg category).Mr Vidhan Chaudhary, student of 2nd year, was awarded the 2nd Position in Robowars (60 Kg category). Well done winners. Keep the Ramswaroop banner high.

14- 16 Feb MDP at IIM Lucknow. Prof Kripa Shankar Singh, HOD (EE &

EN Department) attended a three day MDP at IIM Lucknow on – ‘Leadership Development’. He is very happy with the exposure and plans to pursue the subject to further dwell in the field.

14 - 17 Feb ENTHUSIA 2020: Sports fest of SRMU

Mr. Abhishek Kumar Dwivedi & Mr. Bihul Kumar Ray took part in 4x 100 m Relay Race for boys and won First Prize –Gold Medal . Mr. Jai Singh won Silver Medal in 4×100m. Relay Race for boys. Mr. Bihul Kumar Ray won Gold Medal in 100 Mtr. Race for boys. Mr. Bihul Kumar Ray won Gold Medal in 200 Mtr. Race for boys. Mr. Abhishek Kumar Dwivedi won Silver Medal in 400m race for boys. Mr. Bihul Kumar Ray won Bronze Medal in long jump for boys. Congratulations to all the winners!!!!

18 Feb Ms Aparrna, Offg libraratin alongwith two staff members of library attended a workshop at BBD, Lucknow on e- consortium.

19 Feb Director with offg. Librarian attended a function at AKTU. This was the inauguration of

two facilities at AKTU by Ms. Kamal Rani, Hon’ble minister for higher education – (a) e-Consortium for all AKTU fraternity and (b) commissioning of two solar power plants of 1 MW capacity each at AKTU and IET campus.

20 Feb Abhivyakti Press Conference. A press

conference was organized by Prof Bobby Lyall, Faculty Coordinator Media Cell of the college at Royal Cafe, opposite Sahara Mall to brief media about our annual cultural festival - Abhivyakti 2020. Our ED - Er Pankaj Agarwal briefed the press. Prof. Ashish Awasthi, the faculty convener of Abhivyakti-2020 (SRMGPC) and the faculty convener of Anubhuti 2020 (SRMU) gave the details of various in-house events slated for 22 to 24 February. The Student Conveners of Abhivyakti-2K20, Mohd. Abid, Dhananjay Singh, Ashutosh Singh, Amina Hashim, Neha Gupta, and Saurabh Mishra also briefed the press about the impending Star Night performance by Bollywood Singer Papon.

22 Feb Annual Cultural Festival: Abhivyakti 2020. The Annual Cultural extravaganza,

Abhivyakti-2K20 of the college was celebrated from 22 to 24 February 2020 as its Foundation Day celebrations. The three day extravaganza attracted participants from various colleges of Uttar Pradesh.

Main attractions of the fest were: Fashion show Ritumbhara on 22 Feb, based on the theme Desi Mela sponsored by international designer - Sher Khan. Musical events such as Agaaz, Bonfire, Udaan, Swaragini, Interludes, theme based presentation events Awaahan and XERO - the band competition event by Euphony Club of college. Choreographic performances such as Move to groove, Evolvera, Fiera, Lit-Feet, Surprizo and theme based presentation event Anugam by STEP- the Choreography Club of the college. Theme of the festival was Desi Mela. Theme based college decoration; preparation of stage backdrop with paintings, 3D cut-outs and fantasy images of theme based festivities; portrayal of Ramswaroop Desi mela in the college campus; depiction of spirit of celebration expressed by the theme through 3D paintings, floor patterns and hand-made lamps in the main college lawns.

Theatrical events, Inception, Street Play, Main Stage, Surprise and special play and some competitive events such as Ad-mad, Street war, Poetry, Rangbaazi by Dracula - the Dramatic society of the college. Literary events like Trivia Fever, Graffiti, Dumb Charades and PPD. Media events such as RJ Hunt, Mascot and blind date etc. were very successfully conducted Our main sponsors were Time and Fundamakers. Our Entertainment partner was Radio Mirchi. 24 Feb XERO - The Annual Rock Fest. Xero 2K20, was organized on 24 February 2020 at college.

It was conducted as a band war competition among various local bands followed by the performance of Headlining Band - “Pratyaksh Band”. Pratyaksh band is very popular in Punjab and Delhi region. In addition to above band four other bands took part in the competition such as Gurutva Band, Neptune Band, Footprints on the Moon Band, Bare Whiz Percussion Indie Rockers Band etc. Neptune Band became winner of the band war. Apart from this, six different categories such as best vocalist, best drummer, best keyboard player, best lead guitarist, best rhythm guitarist and best bass guitarist were also awarded.

27 Feb Star Night. The traditional ‘Star Night’ was organized jointly with our sister organization – SRMU as a culminating event of Abhivyakti (at SRMGPC) and Anubhuti (at SRMU). Papon, an Indian playback singer from Assam (founder of the folk-fusion band Papon) was the star performer of the evening who kept the fans spell bound for nearly two hours. The audience of thousands went ecstatic when Er. Pankaj Agarwal, Chancellor and Er. Pooja Agarwal, Pro Chancellor joined the singer in the song – ‘Moh moh ke dhage ----‘. The event proved to be a great evening and life time experience for the music lovers and fans of the artists.

26 -28 Feb Annual Festival of BBD. Our faculty and students participated in the festival as under – Dr. Vibha Srivastava & Er. Satya Prakash Verma of EC department of the college were invited as Judges for “Light Follower”, the technical event of our neighbouring BBD Educational Group, Lucknow. Congratulations for the distinction conferred.

Our students also participated in various sports activities of the fest and made their marks as under –

Utkarsh 2020. Mr. Priyanshu Yadav and Mr. Nikhil Narayan Lal took part in Robowar and were declared second runner-up.

29 Feb Workshop on Swayam. A one day workshop was conducted as per NBA/NAAC requirement in the area of e-learning on ‘Role of E-learning and MOOCs in Higher Education’. The workshop was conducted by Dr. M. S. Manna and Ms. Pooja Rastogi (our NBA mentors). Thirty faculty members, keen in developing the content, were nominated for the workshop comprising of three sessions each of 1.30 hrs. duration. Following faculty members attended the workshop – The workshop covered following aspects of e-learning –

- Context for MOOCs Design and Development for SWAYAM - Enabling the Blended Learning / Flipped Class Room - Open source Moodle’s and Google Classrooms [Hands On] - Ecosystem for Video creation [Hands On]

The workshop proved to be very useful and a letter of gratitude was issued to the guests.

SRMGPC is a Ragging Free Campus and Tresspassers will be prosecuted.

No vehicles are permitted in the campus without a college sticker on it.

Faculties/staff and students can purchase the stickers from admin dept by paying

Rs.10.

All students must abide by the general and special rules made by the college

authorities from time to time with regard to their conduct and studies.

Smoking, chewing tobacco, gutka, pan masala etc. is strictly prohibited in the

college campus. Anyone found smoking, chewing tobacco, gutka, pan, masala etc.

will face disciplinary action.

Students are not permitted to stay in the hostels during class hours. If any student is

not feeling well he/she may stay in the hostel, only after seeking a prior permission

from chief hostel warden.

Hostellers are not allowed to move around on their bikes.

All the students who wish to occupy hostel in the next session are required to fill

the hostel accommodation form available in the hostel office.

Always carry Identity card. It should be tied with a string around the neck

Do not roam around the campus during class hour.

Be in proper college uniform.

All rider and pillion are required to wear helmet.

It is desirable to keep the campus clean- least we can do to contribute towards

Swatch Bharat Abhiyaan.

All students are required to maintain full attendance.
