• There is a constant use of high key lighting throughout the video which is consistently used in pop videos as they tend to be very bright and happy songs.

• The costumes used in the video are generally bright and colourful because the title of the song is happy therefore the costumes are used to reflect the emotions felt by the dancers and actors in the video

• In addition the facial expressions of the actors and dancers as well as the lead singer are usually smiles that also reflect the happy mood.

• A wide range of camera shots are used in the video such as an establishing shot to introduce the artist

• Also there is a great use of tracking shots that are used to show us the emotions and body language of the dancers as there merrily dance down the street.

• The majority of the camera shots used are mid shots that show the actors and dancers hand gestures and facial expressions which are very exaggerated

• The main form of editing used are just cuts that show a lot of diffèrent people acting happy and being very cheery

• Moreover there are also some cross cutting between scenes that show carry on from people that appeared in the video before hand

• The music is very conventional and stereotypical in regards to most pop videos

• The music has a moderate beat with a high pitch which is associated with pop music

• The video starts before the music which is what usually occurs in most music videos

• Also the singer lip syncs the video
