This issue, published today on the auspicious occasion of “HOLI” festival in India brings cheers to all of us when we learn that one of our State Leads in Odisha has been featured in the IGWG Special Update for International Women’s Day, 8th March 2020. We congratulate JEETA for their dedication and commitment in two backward districts of Odisha. This issue is scheduled to reach more than 6000 Email contacts worldwide, a record for an entity with less than 3 years of existence in India. We don’t count its reach of another 3,000+ through different other Social Media Channels, managed by us as well as our Civil Society Partners & Patrons in India and abroad.

We feel proud of our 510 CSO Partners in different states of India as Members of the consortium, working towards achieving the set-targets of 17 Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

SDG-3: Good Health & Wellbeing


SSDHES has conducted “Sanjeevani” Health Camps with its Healthcare

Providers & Community Health Volunteers in the outreach areas of

Rajasthan on Common Childhood Illnesses and other diseases through

corporate sponsorship of Mahindra Group

SDG-4: Quality Education


LKSK organized Adolescent Groups in Pakur District of Jharkhand

to encourage them to complete their formal education up to

secondary level with support from state & central governments under

the “Beti Bachao & Beti Padhao” scheme since last couple of years



GONAS has organized the Mother Language Day in Murshidabad, West

Bengal to encourage children to learn in their mother tongue up to

primary level & preserve their cultural heritage for the future generations



VSWA is engaged in providing quality education to SC & ST Students of

Andhra Pradesh by providing them with teaching materials & good

teachers from time to time with necessary support of corporate donors



HYS organized the Award Ceremony for Teachers on Physical Education &

Sports to promote good health & wellbeing as well as quality education in

institutional settings with support of Govt. of India & NYKS, Bihar

SDG-5: Gender Equality


LKSK has conducted Special Empowerment Workshops of Female and Male

members in different villages of Jharkhand & encouraged them to

become Change Agents by building their capacities on local Governance



AF, Uttar Pradesh has conducted Special Campaigns on Prevention of

Sexual Harassment of Women at Work & Public Places among women

group members in making them aware about their rights & privileges



GKSSS organized the Women Empowerment Workshop at Gwalior (Madhya

Pradesh) & encouraged the women participants to become Change Agents

by administering pledges on the eve of International Women’s Day-2020

SDG-6: Clean Water & Sanitation


YRA constructed several bio-toilets for public schools in Maharashtra and

trained the students to use it regularly by giving top priority to their

personal hygiene and basic sanitation



AF has conducted a series of Workshops on Solid Waste Management in

Uttar Pradesh for motivating community volunteers and other key

stakeholders to work in the specific area with new age technologies



YRA constructed several Safe Drinking Water Outlets in Maharashtra and

trained the community members and stakeholders to use it continuously

with emphasis on good health, better nutrition and personal hygiene

SDG-8: Decent Work & Economic Growth


AS has started demonstrating life-skill training on organic farming as a

better livelihood option for communities in rural areas of Uttar Pradesh

by encouraging them to begin it with support of local banks & corporates

PRASTUTEE conducted Skill Development Programs for Women in Tribal

Odisha by connecting them to livelihood options through Terracotta

Production for their sustainable economic growth with NABARD support

SDG-10: Reduced Inequality


DEC-Anbalaya is actively providing necessary rehabilitation packages to

the needy and poor children, who are mentally challenged from the

marginalized communities in remote areas of Tamilnadu and recently

Anbalaya won the throw ball match in the district for the current year

SDG-12: Responsible Consumption &

Production


SHARE conducted Orientation Programs for rural farmers of Jharkhand

on organic farming & marketing of their agricultural products in the fair-

price shops to make them self-reliant with innovative tools & techniques

SDG-13: Climate Action


LKSK is actively providing necessary on-site Training to the Climate

Volunteers, who are from the rural communities of remote areas in

Jharkhand for availing better livelihood opportunities by taking care of

their surrounding environment and using modern innovative techniques

SDG-17: Partnerships for the Goals


AIHMS-Global & VIKASH-SAMUKHYA participated in National Conferences &

Symposia by Indian Institutes & Commercial Establishments to strengthen

the Civil Society Agenda of #right2sustainability in achieving 169 set

targets of the 17 UN Sponsored Sustainable Development Goals by 2030

BMKK, Bihar has been appreciated and awarded by WDC, New Delhi for

their selfless contribution towards Women Empowerment & Leadership

Development in India for achieving Global Peace & Prosperity

continuous and consistent efforts to run their Free Health Check-up

Afterthoughts:

We are planning a Follow-up Session of

the UHC-DAY Convention at National level

on 1st May 2020,where we will release a

Brief Report of the same with the edited

materials of the process documentation

by our production team.

preparations have already begun at our

country is passing through a difficult
