2020-2021 KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION

February 10th - February 13th, 2020

Harding Township Middle School Main Office, 34 Lee’s Hill Road in New Vernon

Entering Kindergarten students must have attained the age of five years on or before October 1, 2020.

An orientation program for you and your child will be offered on Tuesday, March 31, 2020. At that time,

we will provide information about our Kindergarten program and assist your child in making a smooth

transition to our school community. If you have any questions, please contact Mrs. Howard at 973-267-

6398, ext. 108.

Please bring the following documents to registration:

Original birth certificate List of immunizations Two forms of documentation to establish residency (N.J.A.C., 6A:28-2.5) such as: property tax

bills/deeds/mortgage or closing statement, lease agreement, bank documents, licenses, vehicle registration, voter registration, recent utility/cable/phone bills; documents pertaining to military status and assignment; any other form of documentation relevant to demonstrating entitlement to attend school.

We have noticed that many students are now wearing

smart watches. Due to the distractibility they present in

the classroom, we are asking students not to wear them to

school. Thank you for your cooperation with this matter.

Madison Little League (MLL) Registration

Madison Little League will again utilize TeamSnap for online registration for the 2020 baseball season.

Registration will be as easy as last year since you will be able to import your child's data. Registration is now

open, so simply follow the registration link from the MLL website

(https;//madisonll.teamsnapsites.com/registration/)

We will not be accepting paper/in person registrations. You must pay via debit/credit card; no checks

or cash will be accepted.

If you are new to Madison Little League (MLL), proof of residence and birth documents are required if your

child has never played in Madison Little League. (Document drop-off for new registrants will be held on January

12th and January 26th from 8:30 am to 11:30 am at the Junior School in Madison. Requires copy of birth

certificate and proof of residency e.g., copy of utility bill).

Please go to the website for information regarding player drafts, assessments, volunteering, uniforms, etc.

It is the policy of Little League International and Madison Little League that no child who wants to play will be

turned away. If for financial reasons you are unable to afford the fees, please contact either Ken Waer or John

Ward.

Important dates:

Open now through January 31 - Online Registration - $25 late fee for all player registrations after deadline.

January 31 - Last day to register for Farm, AA, AAA, Majors, Intermediate, Seniors

January 12 and January 26 - Player Skill Assessments - 8:30 am to 11:30 am at the Junior School in Madison.

Player assessments are only required for those who are new to Madison Little League and are "league age" 8

and above as well as first time players in Majors (league age 10 and want to be considered in the Majors draft

and league age 11 or 12 who have not played in Majors before). Players returning to the same Majors team do

not need to participate in the assessments.

February - Uniform Sizing (pants only for Farm) @Alfred's Sport Shop, Madison - based on player's last name

- Please check Madison Little League website for dates

February - Player Drafts conducted for AA, AAA, Majors, Intermediate, Seniors

March - Practices Begin at coach's discretion

April 13 - Season Begins

April 18 - Opening Day Parade / Pancake Breakfast / Picture Day

Week of June 15 - Season Ends

Kids aged 5-13, join us to learn about butterflies, bees, grasshoppers and spiders and

create a wooden model of one of them to take home. Registration requested, please.

Teen Scene, Friday, January 24, 5:00 pm

Interested in hanging-out at the library after closing time? Teenagers are invited to join

our new, monthly group, to take part in community service projects, crafts, movies or just

to hang out and have pizza! All ideas welcome. Please email

Our HTS students who attend the Work-Family Connection After School program recently raised over $100 to contribute to the Foundation for Morristown Medical Center. This donation helps to shape the experience of patients and their families at the hospital each and every day.
