control over. This is an area where fans take over. This can be done by reviews on websites such as amazon, blogs, forums. A big way exchange is done is by video through YouTube, many fan will post video reviews, literal trailers or spoofs of the film.

• Reviews on a well know website such as Amazon could highly influence someone when considering to purchase HP&TDHP2, if reading multiple reviews tells them that the films isn't very good, or to there taste will may not continue to purchase the film and buy another one.

Rotten tomatoes • Rotten Tomatoes is a very

popular review website that reviews multiple films. They give the film a rating out of 10 then rank it on the Tomatometer giving it a percentage out of 100%. They then also then have fans comment after they have watched the film, explaining how they felt about the film. This is also given a percentage out of 100% and ranked out of 5.

• As this is such a popular website for reviews it could also highly influence someone wanting to watch or buy the film, if there is a low percentage there will be a high chance that people may hesitate or decide not to watch HP&TDHP2.

Fan sites

• There are multiple unofficial fan websites giving you all the latest information on Harry Potter. These fan site allow you to join in with discussions about the Harry Potter films. They also allow you to write reviews on what you think of the film.

• Literal trailers, these are the official trailers but slightly edited by fans to have maybe a comedy effect. Literal trailers often have scenes from the movie edited into the clip. This literal trailer has a voice over added to add comedy effect, they haves written a song to go with the clip describing whats going on, almost taking the ‘mick’ out of the film.

• Literal trailers can influence the audience in both ways positive and negative.

interviewing fans of HP&TDHP2, asking fans what they think of the film gives you first had honest information about the film, whether it is good or bad it is likely that a fan wouldn’t lie about the film, unlike a promoter for HP. Someone promoting HP&TDHP2 is likely just going to promote the film in a positive light and not state any flaws if any.

to get an honest take of the film. They will tell you the negative and positive about the film as they are likely not getting paid by the distribution company of HP&TDHP2, therefore they can say what the wish about the film.
