Fundraising Update
• We have fundraised: $20,000– $5,000 TFA Tourney– $2,800 Garage Sale– $500 LD Tourney– $500 Extemp Tourney– $2,200 – Leaf Raking– $9,000 – UIL Tourney

airport at 4:00 AM– We will be arriving on Feb 21st

• Biggest and most competitive in the Nation
• Tournament goes Saturday, Sunday, Monday (Elimination rounds)
Food
• Food in Cambridge/Boston will be expensive. Plan on $30-$50/day.
• Save money by bringing bagels or something you can eat in morning
• There is no free breakfast in hotel.
Clothing
• It will be COLD!!!
• Comfort over Fashion
• Average Feb Temp– 28 degrees!– Could be windy– Don’t whine if you don’t dress warm– Wear comfortable shoes. LOTS OF
WALKING!
Reminder of Rules• Doors will be taped at night
– You must have permission to leave your room• No PDA (Public Displays of Affection)
– No touching of any kind between boys and girls. • Make sure to have a BNHS Debate shirt for:
– Anytime you are at tournament and not competing– Flight from DFW to Boston– Flight from Boston to DFW
• When sightseeing in Boston, you must have a chaperone with you at all times.
• Be a good roommate– Don’t keep your roommates up– Be sanitary
• Main focus of trip is to win at Harvard. Entertainment is a DISTANT second.
• Any other rules, not specified in your packet, but are debate or school rules, must be followd.
