MISSION

VISION

Artificial Intelligence is a fast evolving, wide-rangingcapability of machines to enable high-level cognitiveabilities of humans. AI is classified as Narrow AI andGeneral AI. Science fiction movies have portrayed AIas robots with human-like characteristics, creatingfear and ignorance among the general populationabout AI. It is important to tie the journey of Data toInsights to Action in building AI-led solutions forsectors as diverse as Banking and Capital Markets,Healthcare, FMCG, Social Media, Digital Commerce,Agriculture and others.The adoption rate of AI has been staggered due tolack of Skilled workforce, Inability to setup Centresof Excellence and Lack of directions.In the functioning of council, with our strategy, weshall aim to bridge these gaps and create artefactsthat can be used as ready-to-use guides andtemplates for achieving India’s mission of AIforAll.

curious and aspiring young student and professionals.

2. Present Ideas for aspiring Start-Ups new to this field to identify opportunities and build solutions using AI/ML and related fields.

3. Consultative report on target organizational structure, operating models, Skills and team structure, business and strategic models for setting up a new AI/ Data Science Centre of Excellence in any enterprise or organization.

Megha Sinha

Megha Sinha is a Technology & Digital Strategy leader with an MBA from IndianInstitute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIMA) and BE in Electronics and CommunicationEngineering. She has around 12 years of experience managing design and delivery ofdigital products and solutions for Healthcare, Retail, and BFSI clients of Accenture andnow Genpact. With a background in the applications of Artificial Intelligence andDigital technologies in solving real world problems, she has advised Fortune 500companies on their Digital Transformation Journeys. Currently she is working as VicePresident, Digital at Genpact.An excellent orator, she has been felicitated at Maharashtra State Conference,MAEER’s MIT UNESCO Chair Programme in 2004. With keen interest in creative

writing, she has been blogging on lovingthysoul.blogspot.com and has also beenrewarded for her musings as by Your Story Club and Westland Publishers. As aVolunteer at evidyaloka.org, she curated teaching and assessment content for StateBoards schools in India, facilitating hybrid digital lessons in Science to High Schoolstudents.A Multi-talented person, she is a certified practitioner of 'Reiki’ – method of SpiritualHealing, practicing Reiki for the last 18 years.

Sqn Ldr Tanuja Singh Retd.

Tanuja served in the Indian Air Force as an Air Battle Manager, responsible for strategic and tactical planning involving tri-service resources. Her work mainly involved Network Centric Operations, Data Analysis and Air Defence. She was involved in various key projects, helping the organisation to transition from semi-automated to fully-automatic systems. She represented Air Force in various forums and in front of various dignitaries. She became the youngest Director Systems, responsible for system health, maintenance and optimisation and also for strategic planning of resources deployment for the entire sector with an area span of more than 400,000 sq kms. She has headed various other committees and sections like Human Resource, Grievance Committee and Welfare Committee, ensuring effective training, organised various camps, workshops, free medical check-ups, tree plantation events, vocational training programs, etc. After finishing her career at Air Force, she did a Business Management course from IIM Ahmedabad and now she is working as Associate Director Technology at UBS.She is not only a resilient leader but also a proud mother of two kids, her daughter Aadhya is six years old and her son Adhiraj is three.

Bidisha Borkakaty

Bidisha Borkakaty is a Ph.D. , Operational Research from Delhi University,

completing her Doctoral Thesis on Transient Analysis of Non-Markovian

Queues: Lattice Path Approach.

She has about 15 years of experience as Data Scientist and Consultant for

different Products and Services in the Media and Hospitality,

Telecommunication, Banking and Finance and Retail sector.

Her expertise lies in cutting-edge AI tools and technologies with expertise in

Predictive Analytics, Operations Research, Mathematical Modeling, Data

Mining, Data Analysis, Statistics, Business Analytics, R (Programming

Language) and Python (Programming Language).

She has worked with HSBC, Evaluserve and is currently working with Genpact in their Data Science Centre of Excellence.

Prijo Thomas

Prijo Thomas is a dynamic Business Intelligence Architect with over 16 years ofexperience.

She studied engineering at Cochin University of Science and Technology. She has worked for Top Multi National Companies in the IT Industry. She is an expert in Business Intelligence and Data Visualization tools and

current-age Cloud technologies. Her contributions to the turnaround growth stories of clients across all the

projects that she has worked in has been applauded by leadership teams. A Technology +Business professional with the right balance of art and science,

she brings her interest and knowledge of art, history and current affairs in heradvisory role for entrprises.

Prijo’s skills and expertise are valued in the journey of AI/ML to build solutions,strategies and implementations to utilize Data for generating high-valuebusiness Insights.

Kopal Gupta

Kopal Gupta is a B.E(Hons) from ITM, Gurgaon and Graduated from the Indian

School of Business(ISB) in April' 16, with specialization in Information

Technology Management, and Strategy and Leadership.

She has worked in Technology and Business functions for more than 10

years at organizations such as Amdocs, Reliance Communications,

Unlimit – A Reliance Group Company.

Currently she is an Account Manager at Siemens Digital Industries

Software.

She is an expert in Telecom sector and has handled development and

enhancement of billing engine for the topmost DTH (Direct to Home)

services provider in the U.S, managed the entire postpaid business for

the Circle in terms of managing product portfolio, doing market research,

and advising management on opportunities to increase revenue and

usage of products.

Her deep domain functional experience is an asset to organizationslooking for AI interventions and adoption within the Telecom sector.

Varsha Rani

Varsha Rani is a Mtech, Software Systems with specialization in Data Analytics fromBITS, Pilani.

She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from YMCA Faridabad. She is an accomplished Data Scientist with over 10 years of experience in Text

Mining, Natural Language Processing, Information Extraction, Information Retrieval,Sentiment Mining, Text Classification and Clustering.

Certified in Convolutional Neural Networks in Tensor Flow, Natural LanguageProcessing in Tensor Flow and Machine Learning.

Mrs. Anuradha Poddar is a data science enthusiast, currently working at IGPC-IIMA. She has successfully carried out projects to give valuable insights relatedto Gold Import Trading and Sovereign Gold Bond Trading.

She co-founded an education venture to promote activity-based learningthrough hands-on science workshops and catered more than 1000 children.

She brings with herself rich research experience and has also worked at IITBombay under the project FOSSEE (Free and Open Source Software for Scienceand Engineering Education) funded by MHRD.

Juhi Srivastava

Juhi Srivastava is a Senior Applied Data Scientist working with Oracle. She has over a decade of experience working in the IT industry. She holds a dual Masters degree in Data Science from Liverpool John Moores

University, U.K and IIIT-Bangalore. She is an avid researcher with her research work published in top international

journals like the IBCAI and IEEE journals. She has also trained various Data Science learners pursuing Masters/Diploma at

IIITB.

Sheetal Bakshi

Sheetal Bakshi is a B.Tech(Computer Science) from KNIT with over 10 years ofexperience in the Information Technology sector.

Currently she leads a team of cross-functional experts at Accenture Services Pvt.Ltd.

She is active contributor to the social and cultural well-being of her teams at herorganization. She has organized and managed several Women’s initiatives at herorganization.

She has been a panelist at Women’s day events, inspiring young mothers with hersuccess story of managing work-life and delivering high impact results at theworkplace.

Sneha Rahar completed BS-MS (Integrated) in Mathematics and ScientificComputing from IIT Kanpur.

Currently she is a Manager at American Express and has been working with theorganization for close to 5 years now.

She has worked on Fraud Decision Science, a cutting edge application of AI to buildFraud analytics solutions.

She undertook her Summer internship at KPMG in the Shared Services andOutsourcing advisory.

Roshni Tayal is a Data Scientist at Ecom Express Private Limited. She is a dynamic, motivated, and energetic Individual with hands-on expertise in

Suman is a Masters(Mathematics) from Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay. She is currently working as Associate Data Scientist at Extramarks. Her expertise lies in computer vision, audio analysis & NLP. She has experience working as a Machine Learning Researcher and Software

Development in her past roles across organizations. Suman has to her credit Volunteer experience working in the public relations team

at IITB, supervising students along with 4 other team members. She utilized

her skills in handling the database of more than 300 schools.

Divya Yadav is a Data Architect working with Accenture with 12+ years ofexperience in the industry.

She has more than a decade of experience working in the IT industry acrosslocations.

She holds a B.Tech Degree from The North Cap University, Gurugram. She has done multiple certifications in the database management and reporting

tools and technologies. She is currently working in Digital Marketing. She has delivered multiple trainings

in Accenture. She has been part of the Vaahini group to empower the women. She leads the

Engagements team and Make sure to have different events to have a strongerteam Like Plantation Drive, One day outings, Virtual Events etc.

Sousan has completed post graduation in chemistry. She has been associated with IT industry since 11+ years. She started her professional journey with Accenture, worked 8+ years on IBM

rational tool support for various Application Lifecycle Management tools. Supportprocess include configuration, maintenance, upgrade, migration and integrationwith other IBM and non- IBM tools.

Received various prestigious Accenture awards including Excellence and Gem. Currently working with Birlasoft serving as lead consultant for Continental and

Vitesco a multi billion company.
