FoundersIt was founded around 1550 AD by two brothers Syed Said Muhammad Bukhari and Syed Taj Muhammad Bukhariwhen they migrated from Bilot Sharif / NWFP (Pakistan).

Urs festivalAnother great aspect of Hassal Sharif is the annual mela (festival) which is celebrated from 29th Oct to 1st Nov. Theannual Urs festival commemorates the death anniversary Of Hazrat Pir Syed Qurban Hussain Shah Bukhari.Qawwali concerts are held In honour of the saint during the Urs. Jalali's own kalam(Poetry) and the kalam of otherssufies. It attracts a large number of devotees to the shrine.
