Why be a yoga
teacher?
• Hours to suit you
• Can be fitted in around
other work/
commitments
• Personally fulfilling
• Work with like minded
people
• Bring awareness to your
community of yoga
Why become a yoga teacher?Do you want a different career? Or are you wanting to give back to your community?
Perhaps you are on a quest for life-long learning? Or you want to deepen your
personal practice. Becoming a qualified yoga teacher will give you a better
understanding of the fundamentals of how yoga works. It will also hone your
communication skills. When you are qualified you will be able to teach any Hatha or
Vinyasa Yoga class. Or if teaching is not your aim, you will enjoy a deeper
understanding of your yoga practice with your new found skills.
Can anyone be a Yoga teacher? Firstly, you will need to have been doing yoga for at least 2 years. You will also have a
willingness to be open to learning and be flexible on all levels—to expand your mind be
open to new ways of learning. You will be self motivated and most of all you will love
Yoga.
Why do your training with us?Firstly, our training will qualify you for both Hatha and Vinyasa teaching. Be aware that
most teacher training will only offer one of these. Secondly, our programme ensures
you have a single main teacher. Raquel will get to know you and your practice and will
understand your strengths and will work with you to overcome your weaknesses.
Also, we promise a small group—no more than 16 people in our programmes at any
time. Based in central Farnham, we offer purpose built studios and in which you will
feel welcomed and comfortable. You will also build a community of fellow teachers
with the other teacher trainees.
