Have you ever done a juice cleanse?a letter from the Editor!

I’m not talking about “Oh I’m feeling alittle peaked so let me juice up someapples, grapes and maybe a little mangofor good measure” juice cleanse. I’mtalking about the real deal. Juicing upthings you wouldn’t normally eat, even ifthey were steamed and doused in butter. When the best thing about your dinner isthe raw ginger, things start looking a littlebleak. It ain’t pretty folks!

Then something starts to happen on daytwo. Well, honestly, a lot of strange thingsstart to happen on day two, some ofwhich we won’t talk about here, but youget the idea. You begin to notice thatyou’re a little more energized, you’resleeping a little better and what’s that? Yes!You actually remember where you leftyour car keys!

Now I have to admit when Nelson and Itried this a few weeks ago, we only madeit to day four and then there was so muchcheating going on I can’t take credit fordays five through seven. But we have now

continued to juice several times a week. And we try to choose salad over steak andberries over cheesecake. Well sometimeswe actually PUT the berries ON thecheesecake if you catch my drift, but thepoint is we try to make good choices. Wefollow a mostly plant based diet and ourfocus is always on better health andimproving the way we feel versus the waywe look. The results that come from ahealthier lifestyle will begin to be felt onday one, long before the number on thescale ever moves.

We’re shining the spotlight on HealthyLiving for this issue. Now you may notbe ready for the juice cleanse, frankly I’mnot sure how one would ever be ready fora juice cleanse, but there are plenty of easyways to start living a healthier lifestyle.Maybe for you it means adding a walkafter dinner or planning a relaxing trip.De-stress and detox. Most of us havelittle, if anything, to say about thequantity of life we get, but we but we surecan change the quality!

Just to get you inspired check out ourfamily’s favorite Summer Salads on page10 and some great stretches on pages 14.These Yoga moves are just the thing torelax the back and strengthen the coreafter a long day of driving.

Howard and Debby Palmer haveperfected the art of mental relaxation. Ithink Debby’s hammock overlooking thebeautiful waters of Key West is Heaven onearth. On pages 8 and 9 they let us peekthrough the window of their paradise.Nelson and I got caught knoodling in thehammock!

Our “Meet the Team” article on page 13showcases fan favorite Michael Bolf, TheMan, The Myth, The Legend and alsothe Service Department Manager here atMillennium. He’s got some great tips forkeeping your coach healthy all year long.

Dear Nelson,

I am writing to express my recent experience with yourpersonnel in your shop for some follow up work andrepairs to our coach.

First of all, everyone is first class in their approach tocustomer service. It was quite evident the amount ofwork being done in your shop, yet everyone managed tomake us feel like we were your only customer.

I was first greeted by Steve Robinson when we arrivedand he immediately took charge of moving the coachinto the service area. He further made sure we werecomfortable where we were parked. Before we reviewedthe work order, he had people working on the Coach.Amazing.

Shortly thereafter Jim Brennan greeted us to ensure wewere OK. He then proceeded to review with Steve,Diane and me the work to be completed.

One of your employees worked on our slide out until7:00 pm last night.

Later Mike Bolf checked on us to make sure everythingwas going well and that we’d be OK where we wereparked for the evening.

Corey then installed our iPad mini control system andit performs flawlessly.

Barry Lyons was all over all the little issues and madeshort work of the myriad of items my wife had on herlist.

Derick, who installed our tool chest slider, is a rock star.

Everyone showed up at 7:00 am this morning tocomplete the work.

Not only did they complete the work ahead of schedule, but they also completed several other items we needed toaddress.

GREAT TEAM OF PEOPLE!!!

You have made our Coach Owning Experiencerefreshing from all the other places we have been withour previous coach.

ank you So much for such a great experience.

With Kindest Regards,

Mark and Diane

We’re not just a coach, we’re a company!

Whether New orPre-Owned,

we realize thatchoosing the perfectcoach is a bigdecision. However, often times buyersfocus solely on theyear, make, mileage

and features, which are all great startingpoints to get familiar with industrypricing, but they often forget, you’renot just buying a coach, you’re buyinga company. You’re buying the team ofprofessionals that range from conciergeservices to expert product support. From recommending a great vacationspot to diagnosing a complicated issueat 4am, or help if you just can’t figureout how to flush the toilet, all of whichare critical!

Who you buy from should weighheavily in your decision. Buying froma reputable dealer with a proven trackrecord, of not just providing worldclass service during the sale, but in thecontinued support afterward is critical. As diligent as you are sure to be in yoursearch, sometimes things just happen, and buyers can rush into a purchasewithout thinking about the big picture. Our reputation is built upon makingsure the client is satisfied, not just whenthey roll off the lot, but long after thesale.

When we welcome a new owner to theMillennium family it really meanssomething to us. The excitementspreads across all departments in ourorganization like wildfire! All teammembers go on high alert getting thecoach ready and checking to ensurethat everything is perfect for delivery. That all starts with the Customer CareManager initiating a full Pre-DeliveryInspection to assure everything’s inworking order, and our techs get towork, fixing anything that doesn’t

make the cut. Next the interior designdepartment coordinates with the newowners to add their own personaltouches throughout their new home.Owners will then receive one-on-onetraining on all coach systems, get a tourof the facility, a chance to meet thestaff, and of course some stylishMillennium apparel to show-off thefamily pride.

I’ve spent the greater part of my careerworking in the service industry. Fromhumble beginnings serving my countryin the US Army, and through years ofmanaging various service departments,I learned the value of serving yourclient. Whether you’re “creatingcustomers for life” or providing “redcarpet service” it all means the samething, to service your client in such away as to spoil them for any other. I usethe same philosophy on my wife, withvarying degrees of success.

Most reputable dealers keep the creamof the crop for resale and wholesalequestionable trade-ins. This assures youa quality coach. Often times previouscollision damage or systems issues arenot disclosed by a seller. The dealerplays an important role in flushingthose issues out and taking care ofthem rather than passing them alongto the next owner. This goes back tothe value of the reputation.

So when you’re out there shopping fora coach to replace your current model,we hope you keep in mind that whilethe coach is certainly important, it’sthe support of your family that’s goingto count the most over the years. AtMillennium our passion may be forcoach building, but it’s our privilege tobe able to serve. On behalf of everyoneat Millennium, we’d be honored foryou to consider joining our family, andhope to see you soon.

Living the Good LifeLiving the Good LifeWith sun, sand, surf and a brand new 2015

Millennium Quad Slide, the only thingmissing is a hammock under a palm tree. Oh wait,we forgot to mention the hammock under the palmtree! Howard and Debby Palmer are definitely livingthe good life. Nestled under the palm trees in KeyWest, you’ll find their little piece of heaven, completewith one of the grandest tiki huts you’ve ever seen.

Custom built to their exact specifications, theirbrand new H3-45 Quad Slide is everything theywanted and more. “When we walked aboard for thefirst time we were speechless, I actually got a littleteary”, said Debby, “there’s nothing I would change;I love how it came together.”

With a view like the Palmers have from their havenin the Keys, it’s hard to think what could possiblyenhance the experience, but we believe that the newMillennium complements their paradise quitenicely. But don’t take our word for it, you be thejudge.

SERVICE TIPS FROM THE MAN!

Make sure to keep a log of all the services performed on yourcoach, it’ll come in handy for those working on your coach in thefuture. It’s also beneficial to create a schedule of futurerecommended preventative maintenance services.

When leaving a coach in storage, it’s important to have at leastone air conditioner set to 78 degrees. I recommend using a unitthat is centrally located in the coach.

Always perform a pre-trip inspection. Think about it like a pilot’spre-flight check. Visually confirm that the doors are secured, slidesin, and antennas down. Always check the tow bar and/or hitchconnections for loose hardware and missing safety pins, and don’tforget to unplug and stow your shore cord.

Keep your tow cable connectors clean with a small artist brush, and protect connections with a small amount of dielectric grease.

Chrome mirrors should be clean and shiny. Bugs love to stick tothem and if left unattended they can etch the chrome over time.

Windshield washer fluid should always be topped off, andthoroughly inspect wiper blades for cracks and splitting. Alwayscarry a few extra blades in case they need replacing.

Carry a spare set of belts along with spare oil and antifreeze.

Never leave gray or black water in the tanks for long periods oftime. Solids tend to settle at the bottom of the tank makingrinsing more difficult. Flush your gray and black tanks every 3 fulltanks. 3 to 5 minutes per tank should do the job.

Drain your fresh water if you’re storing the coach; remember totop it off before you go.

I can go on but I saved the most important tip for last; If you everhave a question, day or night, pick up the phone and gives us acall. My team and I will always be available for help whenever youneed us.

As you hit the road for those long hauls don’t forget totake care of your back. Ergonomic experts believe that

drivers can develop long term joint, muscle and spinalinjuries simply because they do not adjust their seat properly.Keep your hips above your knees, your upper and lower backsupported, and make sure your hands and feet can reach thewheel, gear shift and pedals without stretching.

After a long day of driving, before you hit the recliner, take afew minutes and stretch it out. Stretching the back andhamstrings will go a long way towards relaxing the back andengaging the core muscles of the abdomen, which will helpprotect them from future injury. Here are a few of ourfavorite post drive positions for you to try after your next trip:

start your daythe right way

Cobra Pose

This is one snake we love! TheCobra Pose opens the chest and

strengthens upper bodymuscles, while at the same timeit works to help relieve tightness

in the lower back and hips.

CrescentLunge

For you over achievers! Startwith the Low Lunge but then

open up the chest by reachingfor the stars. The extra reach

will enhance your balance whilestrengthening your corestabilizing muscles of the

abdomen and back.

Low Lunge

The perfect pose for stretchingthe quads, hip flexors and groin.

Our lives are dominated bysitting and low back spasms

often start when this group ofmuscles tighten after being

stationary too long.
