7:45am Women’s 5k 8:45am: Awards ceremony (in front of the clubhouse)

LOCATION: Kahuku Golf Course 56-701 Kamehameha Highway,

Kahuku, HI 96731

COURSE: The course is designed as a 1.5-loop course for the 5k and a 2.5-loop course for the 8k. The course is on flat, smooth grass with a couple hills in each loop. We will have a lead vehicle and volunteers to ensure everyone stays on course. Athletic trainers will also be available at the finish. Please stay off the greens and tee boxes at all times.

ENTRIES: All entries must be completed by noon Wednesday, September 21st, through

www.directathletics.com. SCORING: Hand timing and standard meet-scoring will be used.

FACILITIES: Portable toilets will be available on site. No Showers or locker facilities are available.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the first place team and the top 10 individuals in each race. The awards ceremony will start at 8:45am in front of the clubhouse.

RESULTS: Results will be posted on our website at www.hpusharks.com and http://www.tfrrs.org.

RACE INSTRUCTIONS: * Please have your runners ready at the starting line 5 minutes prior to the starting time.

* Runners must keep moving through the finish line so the finish area is not clogged * Tags from running bibs will be collected for official scoring. * Runners will be given numbered finish order cards when leaving the chute for unofficial quick score/back up system. * Remind your runners to give their cards to you immediately after the race, and write their names and places on the front of your team’s Results Envelope with the finish cards inside. Please turn in your team’s Results Envelope to Jackie Sgambati ASAP after the race.

DIRECTIONS: Directions from Waikiki to Kahuku Golf Course (Estimated time: 60 minutes): Turn left onto Kapahulu Ave. Make a slight left onto Wailae Ave. Take the ramp onto interstate H1-West. Take exit 20-A to merge onto HI-63/Kalihi St toward Likelike Highway. Continue to follow 63-N/Likelike Highway for 13 miles. Take the HI-83/Kahekili Hwy ramp. Merge onto HI-83 West and continue for 25 miles. Kahuku Golf Course will be on the right and located just in front of Kahuku High School.

Directions from Kahuku Golf Course to Waikiki (Estimated time: 60 minutes): Head Southeast on HI-83 East toward Enos Rd. Continue on HI-83 East for 25 miles. Turn right onto HI-63 South and continue for 7 miles. Make a slight left onto H1-East.Take exit 25-B for 6th Ave. and turn right. Turn right onto Mooheau Ave. Take 2nd left onto Kapahulu Ave.

EVENT PARKING: Parking for all team vans and buses will be available at Kahuku Golf Course. The nearby church may be used for overflow parking.
