DESCRIPTION
I did this presentation when I was a senior in high school. Hazing, substance abuse, bullying in other forms, and other social issues such as loneliness and mental health have always caught my attention and are my passions. I want to be a counselor and these issues are important to address. Especially when it comes to making the future bright these presentations are suppose to be eye opening and not to change an individual's view on the issue or their political idealogies but to challenge their hearts and souls to stop such tragedies from happening or again or just make them think of the complex layers of this and other issues.TRANSCRIPT

• In order to stop hazing, it is up to our generation to make
the change. It all starts with us. We hold the power to
change the world for younger generations before this
destructive practice is wide spread. Take action today.

Most Important Point
• If you were hazed or affected by hazing in the past, talk to a
trusted adult including a teacher, school counselor, school
advisor, and parent. You do not deserve to live in silence.
Speak up and do not be afraid. Know that this should have
not happened to you and as an individual you deserve better
treatment. You might be helping prevent this issue from
happening to someone else if you just speak about it.
