Greetings to all and Happy Valentine’s Day to our members and their significant others. Also, a Happy St. Patrick’s Day to everyone. We now have new editors bringing you the Newsletter, welcome Diane Lionti and Cookie Gambatese..I’m sure they will do a great job. There will be some changes as we move forward. The Newsletter will now be every 2 months. This Newsletter will cover February and March. By the time you receive this Newsletter we will have already enjoyed, once again, the return of the Rat Pack /Big Bucks Raffle with that delicious Pasta Dinner. A very special thanks to our Chef’s Judy Nero and Tony Taddeo for all their hard work preparing our dinner. Also, a thank you to our servers, officers and to all who pitched in to make it a great night. I hope everyone who attended had a great time. I would like to bring you up to speed with some past club issues. This is kind of a State of the Union of our club. As you know we have reached out to the membership with raffle tickets. The money you have donated has been used to defer the cost for some of our maintenance issues. Some of the issues are a result of an aging building and some are due to our Landlord’s neglect. We are in the process of trying to work out these issues with the owner, but their Cooperation has been a venture in frustration. We will continue to try to resolve the issues, but we are looking at the possibility of having to relocate. I am asking the membership to keep their eyes open for a building or venue that might be an option for relocating. Please don’t hesitate to call me or the club should an opportunity to view another building or venue arise.
