Witley Court ....this photo was taken in Witley Court in Worcestershire, England was once one of the great houses of the

Midlands, but today it is a spectacular ruin after being devastated by fire in 1937. It was built by Thomas Foley in 1655

on the site of a former manor house near Great Witley. Subsequent additions were designed by John Nash in the early

19th century and the Court was subsequently bought by the Dudley family in 1837. The house and 40 acres were

acquired in 2008 by a wealthy family for less than £0.9m, but remains in the guardianship of the Secretary of State for

Culture, Media and Sport, and managed on its behalf by English Heritage since 1984.

Called, Heaven's Glow, this shot was taken with a Canon 70D, bracketed 3 shot Exp -2,0,2 HDR processed in Photomatix

Pro initially, then reworked in Lightroom 4 followed up by Corel Paintshop Pro X5 & used NIK software Color Efex Pro 3.0

using the ink setting. Finally layered & blended that image over the original in Photoshop CS6.
