About HDReports App

HDReports app is a companion android app that works with HD Client server application. HDReports

app helps you to access the reports anytime anywhere from your android phone or tablet. This app

works with different HD Products. This app requires that you already own or have access to the

server for one of the following HD Server Software:

HDPOS smart CS / Cloud

HDSME CS / Cloud

HDSalon CS / Cloud

HDRestaurant CS / Cloud

HDSchool CS / Cloud

Installation & Registration

Installation

Open Play Store from your android device.

Type ‘HDReports’ and Tap on search icon.

From the resulting list tap on ‘HDReports’.

Tap on Install.

Tap on Open when installation is completed.

Registration

Open ‘HDReports’ app, you will be prompted with registration screen.

Fill the registration details

Tap on Register.

You will receive Trial License Key on your registered E-mail id.

Copy and Paste the key from your E-mail id and tap on Save.

Next you will be prompted to enter the Server URL. Enter your HD Product server IP

address/Server URL. For instance, http://[ServerIPAddress]/HDPOSServer or

http://abc.hdpos.biz/

Tap on Save.

Note: The Server and the android app must be connected through same network if not cloud

server or you are using Static IP.

Login Enter your login credentials (User Name and Password) and tap on Login.

Note 1: To login to HDReports app, you should at least create an employee with User credentials.

From windows application, Go to Set-Up > Select Employee > Enter employee name, Username and

Password > click on Create. Tap on the below link for more details.

Note 2: You cannot use default login (HDAdmin) with HDReports app.

How to run Reports

Select the Report (by searching the report through search icon or by simply sliding through

the reports) which you want to run under the Reports page.

Enter the details of the parameters and tap on View PDF/HTML/EXCEL/TEXT.

You can also save the report in PDF/HTML/EXCEL/TEXT. The report will be saved in your

phone.

You can check the saved reports by tapping on Menu icon and select Saved Reports.

This will open the Saved Reports page and all the saved reports are listed in it.

How to Set My Favourite Folder Favourite folder allows you to make a group of reports which are used on daily basis.

To create a Favorite Folder, select Menu icon and tap on Set My Favourite Folder.

From Select Folder page, tap on down arrow and select the folder.

Repeat the step to further select the Sub-folder (if needed) and tap on Save Favourite

Folder.

Search in Favourite Folder To search the report in your Favourite folder, select Menu icon and tap on Search in

Favourite Folder.

All the Reports which are in the favourite folder will be displayed. Select the Report and run

with the required parameters.

If you want to search the reports other than the favourite folder, select Menu icon and tap

on Search in All Folder, it will display all the reports.
