Service for Newly Baptised Babies:- We invite all parents, Godparents and families of babies baptised in our parish during 2018 to a brief prayer service this Sun 24 th March at 2.30pm in St. Clare’s. A special blessing will be given to the babies and their parents as they continue their faith journey together. We look forward to meeting you, your baby & your family again. Solemn Novena of Our Lady of Perpetual Help:- Our 14 th Solemn Novena begins on Monday 29 th April and will run for nine consecutive Monday nights. We invite people during Lent to place their petitions in the petition boxes in St Clare’s. During our Novena, through the prayers of our Faith Community and the intercession of Our Lady we will ask Jesus to relieve whatever burdens we carry. All of us carry burdens that cause us to walk through life with some experience of pain. We all have different times in our lives when these burdens can weigh heavy on our minds, our hearts and our souls. These burdens may come from any area of our lives; family, work, health or finances. Sometimes the weight of these burdens is too much for us to bear alone. God doesn’t want us to carry our burdens alone. He asks us to lay our burdens down at the foot of the cross. He wants us to surrender our heavy load to him. Ministers of the Eucharist:- A Eucharistic Ministers course will take place in the parish centre over 2 Saturdays 6th & 13th April from 11am to 12.30pm. If you would like to become a Eucharistic Minister, just want to refresh your commitment to this very special ministry in our parish or if you bring communion to a sick person in their home and have not done a course please give your name & contact number to the parish office. First Confession:- the children from Killeshin NS will celebrate the Sacrament of Reconciliation for the first time on this Tues 26 th March @ 7pm in Holy Cross Church and the children from Graiguecullen NS will celebrate the Sacrament on this Wed 27 th March @ 7pm in St Clares. Family Masses:- there will be special family Masses next Sunday 31 st March at the 10.15am Mass in Holy Cross & 11.30am Mass in St Clare’s. Laying Down Stones:- God looked down from Heaven and rolled the stone away!

All of us carry burdens that cause us to walk through life with some experience of

pain. We all have different times in our lives when these burdens can weigh heavy

on our minds, our hearts and our souls.

These burdens may come from any area of our lives; family, work, health or

finances. Sometimes the weight of these burdens is too much for us to bear alone.

God doesn’t want us to carry our burdens alone. He asks us to lay our burdens

Support Group on Tues 2nd April from 7 to 9 pm.

Support Group is for those diagnosed with a

Brain Tumour and their families. For further
