For over thirty years, Ben Rabin has provided counsel to Community Association Boards of Directors. His approach, always a combination of both legal advice and practical solutions, has enabled Ben to successfully represent hundreds of Associations during his career, and established him as one of the most experienced and sought after attorneys practicing in this area of the law. An honors graduate of the University of Florida and Cumberland School of Law, Ben was admitted to the Florida Bar in 1984, and has almost exclusively represented condominium, homeowner, cooperative associations and mobile home communities since admission. In 1990, the Florida Bar certified Ben as a specialist in real estate law, awarding him the professional designation of “Florida Board Certified Real Estate Lawyer”, the highest level of recognition by the Florida Bar in areas approved for certification, based upon a lawyer’s competence and experience in the practice area, and based upon recognition by a lawyer’s peers in the same area of practice. Ben continues to maintain this exclusive designation. As an approved instructor of continuing education and board member certification classes established by Division of Florida Condominiums, Time Shares, and Mobile Homes, of the Department of Business and Professional Regulation; the Community Associations Institute (CAI); and local bar associations, Ben is a frequent lecturer to other attorneys, to licensed community association managers, and to hundreds of individuals serving on Community Association Boards of Directors. Topics have included Annual Legal Updates on Changes in Laws

affecting the particular groups lectured to; Florida’s Construction Lien Law and its impact on Community Associations; and similar topics germane to management and operation of Associations.Ben’s personal interests include cycling, travel with his wife and adult daughters, and most recently weekend “adventure racing” with co-workers in the office.
