had talent beyond compare
He was recognized for his valor
And he couldn’t be tarred.
His work was magnificent
Even today it remains unique
Incomparably dramatic and romantic
He will be forever remembered.
His masterpieces, mostly tragedies
Romeo and Juliet, Hamlet,
A stylized language,
Never did he deceive his audience
Avon was his muse,
Where he had found all his ruse
unbelievable poems,
Venus and Adonis, Prince of Denmark.
Such an artist could not be unseen
we all know where he had been
An author this talented
Had a real dramatic potential.
His life may have ended, but his work will forever remain
unforgettable.
