Playing church softball has been
a great opportunity to get to know

Work Day a Success
Team C winning both ends of a double header.
Games are played Monday nights in New Haven at Kreager Park. Bring your lawn chairs or join us on the bleachers to cheer on our teams. ■
Around twenty people came out last Saturday to lend a hand at Wells Street.
Outdoor clean up included mulching, clearing brush, and removing a very large branch that came down in a storm the night before.
Volunteers removed debris, cleaned floors, and scraped years of wax build up from the floor of the Chapel entrance and balcony, while others prepared the apartment in Building 7 for custodian, Andrew Gruber, to move in. ■

Italian Tile, Buried TreasureIf you have walked through the front entrance (off Wells Street) into the Chapel you may or may not have noticed the unique inlaid tiles buried beneath
50-60 layers of wax.
Work to uncover and rediscover the original beauty of this floor is underway.
Interesting to note: We have learned that these 3x3 inch decorative tiles are handmade at only one place in Italy and today can cost between $250-900!

Men’s Bible StudyFall SemesterHas there ever been a more urgent time for Christian men to stand up and be counted?
Here in 1 Corinthians 16:13-14, Paul summarizes his entire letter to the Corinthian church in five essential commands. His message to this divided and dysfunctional church is powerful.
Here is THE WAY FORWARD. It is a call to action. Every problem and failure that had troubled them and marred their testimony for Christ, could be overcome by doing these five things and doing them faithfully. Here are the essential steps of a godly man. Here is the pathway to living a God-honoring life.
Our study, “THE WAY FORWARD Essential Steps of a Godly Man” will provide clear direction and encouraging accountability that will help you grow in your faith and in your faithfulness to Christ—to become a rock solid man of God.
BE ON THE ALERT,
