KGD is a leading international, integrated practice with a diversified portfolio in design, engineering and build verticals of the building industry. Established in 2003 and headquartered in Bangalore, Kgd also has presence in major metro cities of India like New Delhi and Mumbai, and spans across the globe covering Dubai, Muscat,Al Khobar, London, Denver and New York. Our team of 300 is a pool of young and dynamic professionals from different parts of the world, who bring radically unique ideas to deliver high quality retail design for our clients and create exclusive experience signatures.

We, at KGD, adopt an Integrated Project Delivery approach with the usage of BIM which ensures precision based deliverables and smoother project execution. Our design services are combined with all engineering services viz- mechanical, electrical, plumbing and lighting design including landscape design under one umbrella which assures a seamless solution and a well coordinated project. Considering the need for timely execution of projects of our clients and to have a better grip on the quality of proposed design, we also offer the comprehensive Design and Build services, which always exceed our clients’ expectations.

Our Leadership

Nejeeb founded KGD in 2003 along with Ned Kirschbaum and Jim Bradburn of Fentress Architects. His prior exposure to large scale projects globally brings an ambitious vision for KGD as a player in the AEC industry. Nejeeb holds a Master’s degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado and is certified by the Royal Institute of British Architects, the American Institute of Architects and Council of Architecture.

James Bradburn was one of the founding Directors of KGD Architecture, he has also co-founded Fentress Bradburn Architects, in 1980, along with Curtis Fentress.

James is one of the celebrated architect who has keen understanding of materials & method of construction. A person more attracted to open spaces than bright lights. James has spent more than 25 years in Fentress Bradburn Architects before he retired.

Ajay Gupta serves as director to healthcare and commercial projects at KGD Architecture. An alumni of IIinois Institute of Technology USA, he holds an experience of over 19 years handling large scale work in India and abroad. His expertise lies in strategy & feasibility planning, creating efficient & productive designs and budget coordination for hospitals. Before KGD, Ajay has worked with international architectural firms like Fentress, RTKL and HDR. He is a member of American Institute of Architects and Council of Architecture.

Ned Kirschbaum is currently the principal & technical director of Fentress Architects, Denver, USA which is is one of the biggest architectural practices in Western United State. Ned is a passionate architect with strong inclination towards detailing of complex buildings, like Airports, Cenvention Center, and Civic Buildings etc. Ned was involved in the design & execution of Dubai Towers, Denver Convention Center, and Clark County Government Center etc.

Alexandra has 16 years of experience in design and turnkey execution of architecture, interior and landscape design projects having had her own design studio, turnkey execution division and furniture manufacturing unit for 13 years catering to bespoke retail, office, residential and luxury residential projects for international clients from the U.S., Europe and South-East Asia.

INTEGRATED PRACTICEKGD understands and acknowledges that in today’s modern times, Architecture, Engineering and Technology go hand in hand to achieve a holistic and sustainable building Design. KGD successfully established a fully integrated practice which includes, Master Planning, Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, Landscape and Contract Management. In addition, KGD is offering Project Management Consulting to help our clients with a fully integrated Design and Build solution.

Our Design Concepts are amalgamated with the design philosophy and approach of engineering and technology from the start itself. This approach helped us to visualize the complete project in a virtual environment and even tie back the construction schedule thus giving our clients a 98% drawings and documents accuracy to execute their projects in a time sensitive manner.

SUSTAINABLE DESIGNDesigning is incomplete until we have a sustainable design in place, which binds the structure for a longer time. The priority of a well accomplished project Infrastructure is to minimize any step that could affect the building framework in future. Our design philosophy is based on sustainable design to comply with the principles of social, economic, and ecological sustainability. We reduce negative environmental impact completely through skillful, sensitive design that we call Sustainable Design.

KGD uses cutting edge Building Information Modeling (BIM) technology to seamlessly combine art and science, and create spaces for varied uses across multiple geographical boundaries. This in turn provides our clients with la arger picture of the layout and gives them confidence in initiating the work process. Kgd designers also make sure that proper implementation of the design takes place during the construction phase. Precision tracking of the finished work follows later.

QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALTITY CONTROL

Quality Assurance and Quality Check are the most important parts of the KGD check list. The firm has checks and balances at every stage of the project and at every level ofemployee contribution to the project, which helps cut down redundancies of project related QA/QC processes. These processes for QA/QC are as per global standards and are implemented all over the world, to support large-scale projects with multiple stake holders to be executed in a timely and cost effectively. Therefore, to maintain the international standards in our work, every step and process is scrutinized in detail.

Even the nitty-gritty or the smallest error is brought under the scanner and a solution is provided to rectify it. The process is subtle yet sophisticated and no structural flaw is left unturned. The engineers are also well equipped to quarantine a given situation and maximize the usage of utilities available. An exclusive team makes sure that nothingis left out, thus giving our clients a new level of peace and satisfaction with their projects.
