Healthy & Holistic Reflexology Basics: Level 1 Reflexology is a natural healing art that is based on the principle that there are reflexes in our hands and feet that correspond with every part of our body. Explore Chakra Energy

Chakra is a Sanskrit word meaning wheel, or vortex, and it refers to each of the seven body-based and five

spiritual-based energy centers that comprise our consciousness, our energy system. The chakras are not

physical; however, they interact and represent the relationship between the parts of our bodies and our

consciousness. In this workshop you'll learn about the Chakra system and we’ll discuss the link between

concerns. Breast cancer is the second most common

cancer found in American women. Each year, more

women die of heart disease than men and it is the

leading cause of death for women over the age of 65.

Ten million Americans have osteoporosis; one in two

women over the age of 50 will break a bone due to

osteoporosis. And, another issue we don’t like to

discuss is urinary incontinence; however, it is a common and often embarrassing problem. Join us to learn

about treatments for this as well as things you can do today to address the specific health issues that affect

women.

how to make sense of ingredient lists. Finally, we’ll share the basics of healthy eating and how easy it can be

pH stands for power of hydrogen, which is a measurement of the hydrogen ion concentration in our

body. When our pH is low our body is in an acidic state, and this acidic condition may lead to a number of

degenerative diseases. In this class you’ll learn how balancing

your saliva and urine pH affects your body and how being in

balance can help assimilate the nutrition you put into it through

the foods you eat. When you leave you’ll understand why it’s

important and how to bring your body’s pH into balance.

Holistic Nutrition: Enzyme Therapy for Health

Enzymes are natural proteins that stimulate and accelerate many biological reactions

in the body. Digestive enzymes, many of which are made in the pancreas, break down

Nature's Rhythms: A Walking Meditation Experience – NEW

breathe the fresh air. In this new class you will walk the woodland

paths, pausing for wildflowers, rocks and stones, learn the history of

making stone walls and see years of stone walls created in concert

with nature's landscape, create a simple labyrinth, design your own

mandala using nature’s bounty, and participate in a fire ceremony as

meditation. Join us for an afternoon of reflections on the elements,

seasonal cycles and rhythms of nature, ephemeral artistic

expression and experience the beauty that surrounds us. Wear

layered clothing, outdoor boots and bring a camp chair and your
