Heart centered living is about honouring

your inner self. Often in the day to day

activities we forget to stop and listen to our

inner voice and override our own heart’s

desire. Within our hearts we have the

ability to access the inner library of our

lives, the collective consciousness, in this

space there are no limits to the knowledge

that we can attain.

The heart is the seat of our truest wisdom

and where the roots of our intuition. It is

the centre of our life tree.

It is always important to honour ourselves

and our hearts truest desire. It is NEVER

selfish to try to attain your Joy

1. Awareness- becoming aware of your heart

centre is the first and most vital step to

heart centered living. Take time with

yourself and create sacred space, speak to

your heart and hear its wisdom.

2. Forgiveness- Once we are aware of

ourselves we may become more aware of

the hurts, anger, resentment built up…it is

important to release and forgive not only

others but ourselves!

3. Detoxify your body and mind! Once you

have allowed forgiveness take the time to

release the leftovers, detoxification is great

for your body and your mind!

4. Nurture/Nutrition-take care of yourself

mind, body, spirit. Nurture yourself with

positive thoughts, and your body with

proper nutrition

5. Celebrate-always celebrate yourself and

your successes no matter how big or small.

Remember you are always worthy!

Worthy if inner joy, balance and following

your own desires!

Activities to balance the heart chakra:

Affirmations:

I love and am loved

I am a being of pure Joy and deserve the love, honour

and respect I desire.

Essential Oils/Incense: by smelling these you can bring

balance and light to this centre-jasmine, rose, lavender,

amber, marjoram.

Chant with the word YAM

Listen to uplifting music

Keep the colour green and/or pink around you

Meditate and focus on your breathing, then your heart

beat, focus on the inner rhythms of yourself and your

centre.

Love yourself!

The heart chakra is located in the centre of the

chest (chakras are channels that go front to

back). This chakra governs over our inner joy,

balance, harmony, self love, ability to love

others and to have intimate relationships. It is

also the doorway to the inner library of

consciousness.

This chakra also governs over the circulatory

system, respiratory system, diaphragm, arms,

shoulders, hands, rib cage and thymus gland.

Be sure to honour and support these systems

with nutrition, exercise and the proper

supplements.
