Make the Lesson Personal During the Week

Take a few minutes alone and ask the Lord to guide your thoughts and prayers. Are you satisfiedwith how you live in community with God? Do you think God is satisfied? Ask Him.

Also ask Him to reveal to you how you may be holding back and not allowing yourself to beknown by others. Do you have a friend that you can tell your deepest fears and wishes to? Are youa safe person that another might trust to reveal themselves to? If so, thank God. If not, then youare missing out on one of life's greatest joys and God's actual design for us.

Think through your upcoming week. List some ways you could live out Trinitarian love; thinkabout appropriate expressions of love for family, friends, and co-workers.

Write out a personal prayer to God. Include thanks for each person of the Trinity stating the nameof each. Thank God for the perfect unity and community found within Himself. Ask Him forgrace to accept and live in the kind of life He offers, one of unity and community with God andpeople.
