GWEN Global Carly Smith and Jasmine Buehler just completed another GWEN 1-Day training. The women who attended the Global Women’s Entrepreneurship Network were thrilled. The trainers were joyous. The GWEN method of starting up pilot projects as seeds for new businesses is taking the world by storm. But don’t think that free agent entrepreneurship is just for women. GMEN meetings are cropping up wherever gentlemen gather to assist women owned businesses and to launch a few projects of their own. The popularity of the GWEN road trips indicates a sea change in the way that women are playing the business game. Instead of floundering in closed corporate circles or competing with other women in ordinary networking meetings, more women are building cooperative business communities. Experienced businesswomen share their knowledge and skills freely by mentoring energetic new players. Just as women put their families before themselves at home, they are learning to bring that nurturing quality into business, where they find loving friendships that last a lifetime.

Hawaii on my Mind

This holiday season is something special. The road team will be returning to Europe just in time for a spate of festive celebrations. All those travellers will be returning with the glow of their adventures, just as the holidays begin to swing. Hamburg offers the Krazy Kristmas Party on December 20th. Forget about Tannenbäume, gifts, and all the rest. You can show up elegant, casual, or even reuse your Halloween costume to delight your fellow party mongers. The secret of a happy life is celebration. The holidays remind us to take it easy and to enjoy the good people in our lives. Gift giving is a wonderful tradition. More important is the spirit of giving throughout the year. Generosity creates a spirit of giving in every arena of your life.

Heaven on Earth It seems as if the entire Sage University team is on tour. This is the season for tropical locations and exotic trainings. If you like big cities on the sea, join us for GWEN Honolulu, December 3-7, and maybe stay over for Geisha School the following weekend. For those who love Thailand, we invite you to join us there in February. We will be learning more Thai massage in Bangkok before moving on to a small island for The Feminine Community. The ultimate, of course, is Bora Bora, where you can join us in May. There is no more lovely location on Earth to explore the ancient arts of a woman and restore the sweet kindness that is the feminine essence. Don’t let life make you hard and cold. Clear your mind and refresh your heart with us in paradise. . .



Coaching Training

In the emerging service economy people are discovering the importance of people skills to grow their small businesses. We welcome you to check the calendar for events that will upgrade your ability to protect and serve your clients. The most easy, cost effective way to improve your coaching and training skills is to participate in our online events. A new 8-week series of Coach Me If You Can begins in January. Here you get to practice your people skills on our training team so that you can make your mistakes and learn new skills with good friends who can offer the feedback you need to take your game to the next level. My favorite part of business is travelling around to lend support to all of the free agent entrepreneurs who participate in the GWEN network. The excitement of discovering new places and meeting new people lifts my spirits. I look forward to meeting many of you this winter—perhaps in Thailand or Bora Bora. Our mission is to assist free agents entrepreneurs. As the job economy dissolves, we understand the importance of a new spirit of cooperation between people who have to find new ways to provide for their families. Next year we will expand into new areas in search of the kind of people who understand the importance of having an effective business community.
