These days heat pumps are the cheapest way of efficiently heating outdoor pools from May to September (or from April to October, depending on the region).

Principle : Using the solar energy in the air and transferring it to the water in the pool. For each kWh of consumption recorded by your electricity meter, PSA – ZODIAC heat pumps can transfer 5 kWh to your pool.

So 80% of the energy is free !

Advantages of PSA heat pumps

Extremely quiet :

E.g. : Edenpac 2 = 38.5 dBA at 10 m. By way of comparison, background office noise is around

65 dBA.

Recognized reliability :

Unique in the world, PSA’s polyamide titanium technology ensures complete corrosion resistance. PSA heat pumps are compatible with all types of water treatment.

Protection of the environment :

80% of the energy transferred to the pool comes from the air. PSA heat pumps (POWERPAC and EDENPAC) use a green refrigerant (R410A) that has no effect on

the ozone.

Installation :

Heat pumps need to be installed by a pool professional. They are placed near the technical room. For “technical room” models, consult your pool specialist.

28°C in your pool: OUR COMMITMENT

To ensure your customer has 28°C comfort, the heat pumps must be able to deliver their full power on the most inclement days of the period of use.

E.g. : On 20 May, the air temperature is 15°C at night and 22°C during the day. It is essential that the heat pump keeps

your pool at the 28°C you want.

That is why PSA indicates the power of its heat pumps under real conditions of use, i.e. the May, June or September conditions when heating is really necessary.

Our measurement conditions: air temperature 15°C, water temperature 24°C. Under these conditions, the COP of all our heat pumps is 5 or close to 5.

IMPORTANT :

THE HEAT PUMPS NEED TO BE INSTALLED BY A PROFESSIONAL. THIS GUARANTEES THAT YOUR PUMP IS CORRECTLY INSTALLED AND YOU WILL BE COVERED BY THE MANUFACTURER’S STANDARD 2-YEAR WARRANTY. THE WARRANTY BECOMES NULL AND VOID IF THE PUMP IS INSTALLED BY A NON-PROFESSIONAL.

Application • EDENPAC ALL SEASONS heat pumps are able

to heat 0 - 100 m3 pools at below-zero air temperatures (to - 7°C). They can therefore be used all year round.

They are suitable for heating pools under shelters and indoor pools (with a heater, if necessary, in areas with harsh winters).
