➊ The TYWATT 5100 (gas meter pulse transmitter) measures the flow in M3 of gas consumed by the boiler.> Note: the power absorbed in KW/h by the boiler = gas flow (M3/h) x LCV (lower calorific value of the gas).
➋ The boiler's efficiency is preset in the room unit by the installer. > Note: (the efficiency = output power provided by the heat emitter / absorbed power). The efficiency is indicated in the boiler's technical specifications.
➌ The TYWATT 5200 with 2 flow (DN) and temperature sensors measures the heat output of the heating circuit and sends the data to the room unit.

Thermal energy metering
Function The heat meter measures the amount of energy supplied by a heat generator (boiler, heat pump, etc.), domestic hot water (thermodynamic, SDHW, etc.) and
collective heating system. Two DN sensors measure the volume and temperature of the output water circuit and the temperature of the return water circuit. These measurements are used by the TYWATT 5200 integrator to calculate the thermal energy supplied.It converts this power directly into KWh on the room unit.
